Has anyone else noticed that Skaven are now about the most 40K-ish army in all of warhammer?

Think about it:

* Tunnel teams = deep strike

* Sneaky infiltrators = outflank

* Ratling guns = heavy bolters

* Warpfire throwers = heavy flamers

* Cracks call = jaws of the world wolf

Im just sayin'.....

[size0]Deleted this topic's freakish twin for you.. ;)

-Stinky.
You kids these days have it so easy, what with your Plague Furnaces and your Hellpit Abominations and your Bonebreaker Warlords. Back in MY day, all we had was Slaves and Clanrats!...and auto-hit Ratling Guns...and skirmishing Jezzails...and 2D6 Warp Lightning...and Lead From The Back...wait, what was my arguement again?

I've seen two different version of Crack's Call - is it actually the one that acts like JOTWW?

And I've always thought the Skaven should be a 40k race. Have them near the Tau just to run the blue goodie-goodies up the wall. Kekekeke...

ever hear of the web way it's a bunch of tunnes connected throuout the galaxy... i wonder what the eldar would do if even warhammer fantisy skaven got into the webway. im guessing something aroud run faster than normal(normal = 24inches per turn) or try to train them as pets and get eaten.
clan ashen has spoken...
i hope no one cares enough to silence me

clan Ashen fluff found here:

The main reason I think we'll never see space skaven is that Orks have it all covered. They have all the crazy high powered weaponry and vehicles that only do what you want most of the time, they are the ones that scavenge and retrofit weaponry. They also have rules that make them less likely to run the more boyz you have in a unit. There really isn't anything else skaven could bring to the table that the orks haven't already got except they have different fluff.

Shooting into combat, less combat oriented hordes, more plasma based weaponry rather than solid slugs, stronger veicles that suffer malfunctions rather than just being rickety.

In general, think of a horded version of the Tau/Eldar that most weapons have the "Get's hot!" Rule
Shhhh I'm not here
