I Am The Monster
|
i found an interesting article on the asrai.net about just cheese in general. from what i've seen, most people here are generally strongly against it. i am vehemently against it and won't touch anything that even smells of cheese. it comes from playing almost exclusively demons, high elves(2 dragon prince units with tyrion, heavy magic, and heavy shooty), and wood elf double tree man. i also am biased by my inability to field cheesy armies because of lack of money and time to make them. i manage to win a lot because the whole idea that something other than your army list affects how a battle turns out hasn't hit them yet. i personally think cheese can be fun against cheese, and tournaments are a whole different matter, but just bringing cheese to the table because you want to win in my mind is bad. so, if you would, please share why you think, just in general, is cheese good or bad. if you want the wood elves thoughts, here they are. it really is a great article. http://www.asrai.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1...9dd3d6dd8fbb3f6 |
The best way to configure an army is to go play demons.-Nevamore Posted on Nov 6 2009, 04:02 PM

I play in a lot of tournaments with comp scores so I love cheese. People bring cheesy armies and have terrible comp scores and I usually score really high, giving me the advantage right off the bat. Then when I destroy these cheesy armies I really start to pull ahead. Cheesy armies level the playing field for my average painting ablilties in tournaments so I love em. |

I don't care how much "cheese" they use aslong as it isn't over the top and we can still have fun in the game, I still like the models and the fluff in games. |
