Some pics of the game: 1st Kick-Off ![]() Brawl at the Line of Scrimmage ![]() As your marksman-eyes will have noticed, the Warrior in the middle is a Broodlord missing his (bigger) arms. I am in progress of getting a set of Warrior-Rending Claws for him. I have to admit, that the Termagaunt-tails of the "Hybrids" are too long for BloodBowl. I will try to find a few cheap human players, with a pose suitable for mutating their arms and heads. Thus making new Hybrid/Cultists. MUTATED: Cut off/shortened their tails. Looks all right, actually. |

2nd game. Vs Chaos Dwarfs. Inducements were spent on a Bloodweiser Babe and a reroll. Opponent got FAME, I chose to receive kick-off. 11 Tyranids vs 12 CD's Pitch Invasion! A Bull and a Hobgoblin were downed. Average rolls until testing my players. Stunned were: My Warrior, 1 Stealer, 2 Gaunts and 3 Hybrids. Starting with bloo.. 7 players down!! A Hybrid picked up and was instantly smacked down. Turn3 same Hybrid fails a dodge (snakeeyes-my specialty) and becomes MNG. Turn4 his Mino sends a Gaunt out for the game. Turn5 a Bull scores. 0-1 Turn7 another gaunt AND my star-stealer are sent to the injurybox. Stealer w/SureHands and Block gets MNG. BAH 2nd half starts with my dodging Gaunt joining the injured bunch. Another MNG. So none of my developed players will be ready next game. Turn3 a Hobgoblin scores. His 10 players(I managed to KO a Dwarf) vs my 2 KD’ed. That’s what I had left on the field. KO-box was crowded too. Turn5 a Hybrid twice failed to pick-up ball, and two Bulls played ping-pong with ball, ending with one of them catching it. Of course the one that hadn’t moved. 0-3 Kick-off is a Blitz, no less. My 5 players are pushed and knocked around. Turn6 same bull scores again. Turn7 a Hybrid is killed. Last turn the miracle happens. My Warrior blitzes, and gets free, moving towards my endzone. A hybrid finally manages to pick up, IN my endzone and move to Warrior, making a Completion. A Spp ! Luck kept on same level. Mvp was given to my Journeybug, and income was measly 10.000. Not enough to buy the stupid insect. Positive stuff: Apart from the dead, no lasting injuries. And I didn’t lose FanFactor. So a 0-4 loss with 0-6 in casualties. Babe helped twice out of some 10-12 rolls for KO. Total of 4 Rerolls were spent on 4 turns in 1st half, 7 or 8 turns in second. With access to mutations the team has potential of becoming tough, but for starters they suck. Apart from the Genestealers. Still, they are nice to paint. I for one, think they might turn out good looking. (Pictures to come) |

Anybody reading this? No? Then at least I can keep my records here. 3rd game Vs Chaos. Inducements were spent on a 2 Bloodweiser Babes, an apothecary (has become viable choise for the tyranids) and a Stealer Starplayer with claw, block and other stuff.. Being 400K down (in this league) also gave me 4 random spp after the game. I got FAME, I chose to receive kick-off. 12 Tyranids (4 journeybugs) vs 13 Chaos. 4 warriors (3 with block), the rest goats. My new dice rolled a bit better, but not a spectacular game. Highlights: Turn 1.6 a journeybug (gaunt) suffered casualty, and opponent scored. 0-1 Turn 1.7 a journeybug (gaunt) suffered casualty Turn 1.8 my lone stealer (the other was MNG) made a completion. Turn 2.5 a Gaunt suffered casualty - MNG, no serious injury Turn 2.6 a Hybrid suffered casualty - BH Turn 2.7 my lone stealer MADE a casualty - BH At the end opponent had 6 players in KO-box, but I was some down too. Income: 70.000, -1 in FF Stealer #3 gains skill: Block. Gaunt #9 becoming Mvp gains: Extra Arms. Team Status Beetles with Balls: #1. Warrior “MX09(Stitch)”: 1Cas = 2Spp #2. Genestealer “Picker Bough”: 2TD = 6 Spp #3. Genestealer “Breaker McFarlane”: 4 free+1Cp+2Cas = 11Spp #4. Hybrid “Jumping Jack”: 1 free+1Cp = 2Spp #5. Hybrid “Kenny Killer”: DEAD #6. Hybrid “Lenny Lethal”: 2 free = 2Spp #7. Hybrid “Mean Mantis”: MNG #8. Gaunt “Arnie Anthrax: 1free + Mvp = 6Spp #9. Gaunt “Billy Bug” : 1free + Mvp = 6Spp #10. Gaunt “Creepy Curt”: -AV, 1free = 1Spp #11. Gaunt “Dirty Dick”: 0 With 110.000 in my pocket, I am buying a new Gaunt and ..... an apothecary The reason apo's get accepted is, that the rule-team had calculated, that regeneration was valid as mutation, but that turned out it is not anymore. Welcome to #12. Gaunt "Etta Eerie" |

I still find it quite weird that you chose Tyranids to make a new bloodbowl team. But then again what other WHFB races are there to make a new bloodbowl team apart form daemons which I'm sure have been done 100 times... |

Work in progress:![]() Basecoat: Skull White. Using washes for "natural" parts. Just the tongues, shoulderpads and stealerclaws (oh, and the gloves on #2) are painted with normal GW paint. |

Hello most faithful of fans. Never contradicting me Team is painted. I will probably spread some grass on the bases, maybe a few body part. I consider a few white lines, but I usually find them wrong unless for dioramas. Well, here goes:

MOST Excellent! Love the pose on the big guy, and the shading is great. Inks, glazes or dipping? FYI, I have been reading along, but at an infrequent pace. Pictures are a great draw though. |

@Rusty: Washes. Just SkullWhite basecoat and then used the 9pcs. box of washes, except for shoulderpads/numbers, tongues and some hydraulic tubes on the back of BigGuy's left arm. And the SnotGreen bases. @both Thx for the comments

*looks at his own league thread*... ... As if you're the only one, Morgoth. ![]() Still, the team looks very nice indeed. They all really stand out from one another and are a colourfull bunch most certainly. Are you going to do something with the bases as well? Greetz |
