I just received my Vermin Lord from Ebay, and I was wondering how to paint him.

I was thinking instead of having him have flesh colored skin where there isn't fur like
rat ogres I should give him a dark red skin to look more daemonic.

Any thoughts or do you have a Vermin Lord to show off?

I gave my verminlord a blue skin. Just to made him look very dark.

For example:

I'm in the process of finishing up my VL right now. I went with the generic fleshtone + black fur.

If a new model is released, and/or the new book actually does bring the VL back; I'll buy another model and do a grey fleshed + furred as either white/darkgreen/red.

Interesting blue VL and neat conversion.

I didn't make mine anything like that he is just straight form the blitzer. But I did drill
him to fit the heavy torso on the legs with the pin. It felt pretty weird using power tools
on a warhammer figure but the soft metal gave away easily.

Now I've decided to go with red, seeing this cool blue Verminlord. Adding some small
giant rats from CR packs to make him look more like a vermin lord and not some
random daemon.

How did you make those straws?

Looks like they were put from a large brush.

all i know is that i dont know nothing
i think that red would b e a good color for the vermin lord. you can buy "field grass" from train/model/hobby stores. i think it comes in 4 inch and you can cut it whatever size you want. good luck with the lord, and i hope he is in the new book....
