"Master" Assassin
|
Has anyone read The Ambassador Chronicles by Graham McNeill? The omnibus has two books, The Ambassador and Ursun's Teeth, and in the second book, there is an Eshin Assassin character that accurately represents my idea of what an Eshin Assassin should be like. He kills with impunity, is faster than the fastest swordsman, and can throw shuriken as if his arm was an automatic rifle. He even gets to play around with a Brass Orb, and McNeill describes what the weapon does with spine-tingling detail. It is a minor role in the book, but a great example of Eshin nonetheless. I highly recommend the books to any who enjoy a good fantasy read, and especially to those who enjoy reading about the exploits of competent Skaven Assassins! Anyone else have any good examples of Eshin being portrayed in books or stories? |

Sorry, I've got nothing to contribute. But Graham McNeill did one of my favorite BL books, Storm of Iron, so I'll definitely have to pick up that omnibus, thanks for the heads-up! I stopped buying BL books a long time ago, mostly because I was running out of money to buy models with.
