Hi mighty lords,

Title says it all. Which size is the WLC?

Thanks for your replies.

Officially Awesome
The thing is... the Warplightning Cannon doesn't come with a base and since it never gets involved in combat it doesn't need one really either.

However, I would say that most would agree on it being a Chariot base, it would fit on one of those.

Hope that helps.

It really should be based, since measuring if things reach it is a lot easier that way. :)
The "official" size is a chariot base, if you ask the old base-chart pdf GW used to have on their site (and still do, but darned if you can find a reference to it anywhere onsite...)

Just in case, a chariot base is 50mm*100mm (or 2*4 saurii, if you like measuring things in lizards).

It has a unit strength of 3. :)

I believe the range measuring is actually done from the barrel, so base really doesn't make much odds. But to keep the slaves attached comfortably I stuck mine on a 55x105mm resin Foundations of War base - looks better that way, too!

That's not what I meant. :) When things charge it it has to flee, and then it can sometimes be nice to see where the sides go etc. I also move mine around a lot, if you don't have a base on it you can probably fit it in lots of places where it shouldn't really be able to go..

Shennanigans are out of the question!
Technically, it is probably on a chariot base, but anything large enough for the cannon and crew should be legal. Mine is on a 100x120mm base (for the sake of looks). So long as you measure from the same spot every time, it really doesnt matter.
