It seems like the most popular equipment for a master assassin is the fellblade. But does anyone give them anything different? If so, what, why, and how successful is it? Later! 'Sticks |

Warpstone Charm, Bands of Power, Warpstone Stars/Weeping Blade I've never used it, but it looks like it could be nasty! |

"Nurgle has got to be my favorite chaos god, fluff wise... He's portrayed as this sort of jovial, jolly old guy who thinks that rotting apocolyptic plague is funny as hell... So basically he's a big ole fat bastard who thinks giving you a scorching case of the herp is a big laugh." ---Kadrium 7th Edition Fellblade Kills: 1 Steam Tank, 1 Warrior Priest, 4 Greatswords, 3 Treekin, 1 Chaos Sorcerer, 5 Chaos Warriors, 13th Spell Kills: 8 Chaos Chosen. | |

There are certainly other alternatives. The weeping blades, amulet, bands of power and smoke bombs Warpstone stars, bands, amulet, smoke bombs Both are decent options, although in all honesty, the fellblade, tailsman, and smoke bombs combination is so destructive that it is worth every risk. |

I'm an advocate of warpstone stars, bands of power and amulet. Smoke bombs as matter of course (although never yet needed to use them). |
| Mostly harmless | |

Comrat pilgrim2715 has nailed my perspective almost perfectly, the only additional benefit of the Blessed 'blade being that it really is incredibly funny to have your Master Ratssassin slaughtering any and all before him while his own weapon seems to be intent on killing him. I have had some wonderful games where I felt compelled to throw him in to combat asap simply in order for him to actually earn some victory points before that big cutty thing in his right paw finally took him out. And Comrat Mutator: I can vouch for the wonderful smoke bombs. I had one game where my opponent shielded his key characters in big blocks of infantry In three wondrous and consecutive turns my Sensei was Skitterleaped in to base to base/ slaughtered character in my combat phase (hint to our newer assassins: never issue a challenge if the target is in a unit - it only allows the prey to escape by declining)/ killed more in their combat phase but lost out on 'soft' CR factors/ routed, but Smoke Bombs prevented any pursuit/ rallied in my next phase and was immediately Skitterleaped in to the next victim. |
