Suggestions: I would recommend dropping one of your assassins and exchanging him for another sorcerer. Since the Eshin list relies on skitter leaping an assassin into vulnerable characters, it is best to have plenty of magic to ensure the leap attempt is successful. Make sure both sorcerers are upgraded to level 2, give them some dispel scrolls, warpstone tokens, and perhaps the warpscroll. 10 Nightrunners in a squad is way too big, if they run they are going to cause panic tests, and when the whole army has leadership 7 or less, half your army could end up running off the table. Put them in units of 6 and add more squads. Same with the gutter runners, 10 is way too big, and frankly nightrunners will perform almost as well for 1/3 of the cost. However, if upgraded to tunnelers, they are incredibly useful. If you expect to see a lot of war machines two units of 5 with poisoned handweapons (stars are unnecessary) would be 85 points each, otherwise one unit of 5 would be sufficient. With the rest of the points, I would recommend some Jezzails, as nightrunners and gutter runners are terrible against armored units. Two units of 5 Jezzails would provide plenty of firepower. |

i agree with you on the sorcerer now you say it and the units of 10 night runners, but i see your point with the gutter runners who i will proberly change to tunnerlers ditch the stars but i still like to have them in slightly larger units i may reduce it to 7 or 8 but i still will leave it like that. i didnt put any jezzials in becuase i wanted a pure eshin list(and they cost to much) but i would agree with you other wise. cheers for your comments. |

Where are the slings?! We must project hardened death at greater range from out hidden places in the cover of night, but more importantly real cover that with our skirmish stops us being hit and dying. |
Currently joint first in PRS points, may as well blow my trumpet whilst I've got one.
