With 3 clanrat units you can only have upto 3 slave units =) And, I would drop the spears on the clanrats, and both units of rat ogres. Imo ratogres just aren't worth their points. But if this army is for friendly gaming, then keep the rat ogres =) If the army is meant to compete, then i would drop them. I'd drop the shields on the stormvermin, as they already have a halberg which gives +1 S and requires 2-hands. The stormvermin has only 3 S so the +1 is very welcome. And I dunno, your greyseer has the twisted crown of the horned rat, but i would rather use a warpstone amulet to save some points. Basicly they are pretty much the same, except the dif that you can't regenerate burnt wounds on the crown. Getting a ward save for the greyseer would be nice imho. |

As useful as it is, havign a 3+ combat save is even more useful! Combined with their decent WS, Stormvermin with shields make the perfect staying unit, as it takes alot to break them. The +1 S from Halberds is decent, but then their armour is poor and they will die so much easier, its best to just ignore the Halberds and use the shields...
No, its not worth the risk! The Seer on Bell is worth 500+ points, and with the Amulet there is a 1 in 6 chance of him dying automatically at the end of the game. This can very easily change the game from a win to a loss, and it is not a worthwhile risk... Its a much sounder investment to keep the Crown... Overall the list looks decent, but you do probably have too much magic. With 12-12 power dice you will likely cause horrific damage in the magic phase, and might find people complaining about facing so much... For a friendly game Id definately say too mucg magic, but if you are using it in a tournament scene then it should be fine... Besides that, I'd drop a WLC and increase the Stormvermin. Aim for 25+ so they can afford a few casualties before loosing their LD bonuses... - Sammy |

Drop the spears from the clanrats, they are a waste of points, the points would be much better spent on expanding your stormvermin. Drop the rat ogres and use the points for another unit of 30 clanrats with hand weapons. Use the rest of the points for giant rats and nightrunners. You have plenty of magic with the seer, bell, and one warlock, dropping the second warlock for a warpstone stars assassin or combat oriented chieftain (for skitterleaping) would be beneficial. |

The Grand Poobah!!!

I had made quite a few mistakes in the list which have now been corrected. I added a WFT with the points I got from dropping spears and illegal slaves. I want to try out things I almost never use so I wanna keep the ogres,WFT, and the wizards. I've never used ogres, Jezzails, and WFTs. I've never gone magic heavy either. This list is for friendly play and to give my opponents something different. |
