Pretty good list. Suggestions: Your warlord is lacking in strength, he is not going to be wounding much at s4 with ASF. Replacing the languisher blade with a great weapon or halberd would provide a needed strength bonus and is much cheaper. Two warlocks is usually all that is necessary in 2000 points. I would recommend replacing one of your warlocks with a BSB, which provides a helpful CR bonus and dramatically increases the staying power of your units. 25 clanrats is too small in larger games, drop some of the globadiers to expand them to 30 each, and the first clanrat unit is 140 points, not 100. Not sure what you intend to do with the globadiers, but I would encourage dropping all of them. You have the Jezzails and cannon to deal with armor, and nightrunners and giant rats make better flanking/harassment/missile screen/march blocking units. Plus they are cheaper. You can use the globadier points to expand your clanrat units and purchase up to 4 squads of nightrunners (unit sizes of 5-6 armed with either nothing, stars, or extra handweapons) and a regiment of giant rats. The slave units are a bit large. If you are using them to help shield your clanrats from missile fire, than 25 is all that is necessary. If they are to be used for baiting and flanking, field them in units of 20. |

Hello, thanks for the reply:), I agree with you on the strenght from the warlord, so I will either try to fit in the bands of power or drop the languisher sword and give him a great weapon. I'm used to having around 8 powerdice in my army( with ong I had a lv2 and lv4), so either I drop a warlock and take a chieftain bsb and then I would upgrade my warlord to a seer. I find personnaly find that 25 is good enough, I use my goblins mostly in 25-30 and those work good so I think that rats will work fine. But keep in mind I only played 8 games or so with rats( and won 7 times:)). For the globadiers I don't know, I was planning to have some fun with brettonians, going in forest and such and throwing globes in their faces. The role from the slaves depends on which army I will be facing, either screens or flanking forces. Greetz G |

In that case keep the third warlock. However, I think you will find two warlocks with the storm daemon to provide plenty of magical power against balanced 2000 point armies, you could certainly afford to replace the third warlock with a BSB. |
