Now before you read the list know that my opponents are Empire, Bretonnians, Dwarf, and Orc. The three highest armor value armies in the game and then the mean and green orcs. I designed this list more to combat the Dwarf and Bretonnian menace then anything else. I also have 186 pts to spare and cant decide what to get, I had a few ideas for it but wanted to see some other Skaven opinion. I have also played this list a number of times against the four armies and the Ogre Kingdoms and have a record of 26-5 so far along with two 1st place local tournament awards. Im not a fan of digging teams or warplock cannons, Ill use them occasionally but have never had the best of luck with them.

That is a very good list.

Suggestions:

Full command is unnecessary with your clanrats. Drop the champion from three of the units (keep one in your warlord's unit) and use the points for another unit of slaves.

With the rest of your points, two more slave units would be extremely helpful. With any left over points purchase a few giant rat packs or nightrunners for use as flankers/harassment.

I dont really like Giant Rats maybe Ill just add the Night runners to screen the flanks. I like to have the champion for that extra attack especially against the Bretonnians a couple times Ive won a combat by one because of the champs extra attack.

I would not recommend spending 10 points on an extra ws3 s3 attack, the champion is only worthwhile if you have a combat hero in the unit.

All my units will have a character in it. Four units of clanrats and four characters makes it nice.

Looks like a generally good army all round to me, and I like the brass orb - though I would be careful with the character it's on - if you drop that in a unit of clanrats, bad things can happen.

A few comments, though:

1.) I suggest you change the great weapon on your warlord for a halberd - a great weapon wastes his excellent initiative, which isn't something you want to do, and still has good penetrating power. Alternately, consider giving him the dwarf slayer - specialised, but very effective. I recommend swapping the crown for the warpstone amulet though - it offers the same benefit, for half the cost.

2.) Although the brass orb can be very effective, consider nonetheless swapping it for the death globes - the globes are cheaper, freeing up more points for troops, and are also reusable, and they have almost the same effect - a simple 4+ wound, no armour save, which will hurt dwarfs/knights very much.

3.) As stated earlier, drop the champions. They don't really give you any benefit - an extra attack, yes, but Skaven don't win through attacks, and they're the price of two normal skaven - a 20 point saving in total, which is half a slave unit. Your characters should be fine - you can just refuse a challenge, get all the normal benefits from the back of the unit, and then even leave next turn if the combat goes sour, or if you feel like something isn't charred enough yet.

4.) With all the extra points you save - with everything I've put, I make it a 75 point saving - buy some stuff! That can get you 10 night runners with throwing stars in 2 units of 5 on your flanks, or 15 naked ones - and you'll need those flanks! Or, if you drop a unit of clanrats, you can get a unit or two of plague monks, which will give you a strong flanking force that can contribute a lot to combats.

Anyway, overall I think it's a good list, and I wouldn't change much, except for the points above. Good luck with it! :)
