hi there.im real beginer and there is my army: 51 pts chieftain (shield, heavy armour, general, leading 1 unit of clanrats from back) 70 pts warlock engineer (warp-blades,upgraded warp-energy condenser, leadind 2nd unit of clanrats from front) 205 pts 26 clanrats with ratling gun (standart, musician) 205 pts 26 clanrats with ratling gun (standart, musician) 50 pts 25 clanrat slaves 50 pts 25 clanrat slaves 60 pts 6 poisoned wind globaldiers 60 pts 6 poisoned wind globaldiers 751 pts so.my idea is to deploy 1 unit uf clanrats and globaldiers on left side of table,in middle 2 units of clanrat slaves and on right side of table 1 unit of clanrats and globaldiers.basic tactic is move forwards with slaves until they meet some enemy, than fire with ratlings, casting warp lighning with engineer and move with globaldiers to enemys flanks (than rear) while shooting on enemy units in combat with slaves.clanrats will watch the fight or move to enemy's flanks (engieer will move to back). any suggestions or comments are welcome, thx |

I'd agree with vesniczan. The Storm Daemon Item is very usefull!!! You can decrease you slave squads to 21 each even and maybe add another unit to the squad of 5 PWG's. This should work well, but as it's always the case, its all down to rolls :D. You might wanna make sure your opponent doesn't try and flank you as well. If you can maybe keep your chieftan real close by or (risky) in a squad of Night Runners, you'd be able to outmaneuver him. Or get your chieftan in battle and let the Night Runners just keep back to intercept flankers. |

The above comments probably aren't entirely necessarily my own, and are probably not entirely necessary. | |

Definitely equip your warlock with the storm daemon. Putting your (armed with a great weapon) chieftain in the front of a clanrat unit with a champion would be a good idea, as he will provide valuable kills for combat resolution. You will only need one ratling gun in such a small battle, you could use the points to get a wardsave for your chieftain and a squad of nightrunners. Globadiers are unnecessary in a small game, you have plenty of anti armor with the weapon team and warlock. Drop the globadiers for a few squads of nightrunners or giant rats. |
