So I've wanted to run a giant rat heavy list for awhile now, but it seems impossible to buildup a decent amount of the buggers. They come with the rat ogres but im not spending 40$ just to get 6 giant rats. Anyone have ideas/know where to get ahold of many little rats???? |
| Huge Skaven Army for sale. I have built and primed over 4000pts worth of skaven, and have 2500pts of that painted and based. PM me for details if your interested. | |

There's tiny ones on the clanrat sprues aswell. I counted enough to make one unit of 24 in one batallionbox. (that's oncluding the ones on the rat ogre sprue)

Actually you can get a good amount of rats from the Plague Monks sprue. I made a full three pack unit from the battalion. You might be able to deal with some Skaven players for the rats on said sprue. |

If you want a lot-a lot then your best bet would be sourcing down a bunch of the old blister packs, they should still be a somewhat of an easy find given that they only 'recently' went out of print. |

If your not concerned about tournament play could source other suppliers e.g. Black tree design do a pack £4-49/5 but they have a sale at present so only £2.74 although these don't look brilliant in photo. www.secondcity.org.uk/page28.htm has a [ack pf 8 for £3.25+0.80p&p which can't be bad and photo OK? I also need 60 giant rats for my 1K of clan Maulder so will be in much the same position in 8 months time so I will buy a pack of each and give a better critique when they arrive. Still ebay is probably the best source looking for NIB blisters of packmaster & packs. |
Currently joint first in PRS points, may as well blow my trumpet whilst I've got one.

As an offside remark, I notice that the US GW site has no mention of giantrats in the core unit section, but lists the giantrats with the ratogres in special (the downside of having a core unit and a special unit in the same box), while the UK site still has the metal blisters listed in their miniature gallery. |

As I pointed out in the link Nit'z posted, the US site looks to be in quite a bit of disarray. They have the CR's as a lord choice, and two special characters in the specials slot. Hope they sort that out soon! |
