It is quite interesting to see that there are many amongst us who own/ play a Mordheim Skaven warband, though that there's only a small (as in: almost dissapearing) group of members talking about it. A similar thing happens with Blood Bowl here and in order to boost the interest and discussion there, I've kicked off a Blood Bowl ranking to have people talk more about the battles they play. I thought something similar could perhaps be done with Mordheim as well... Now I know that Mordheim isn't a system that can be used in leagues/ rankings (unless you want to compare your amount of models, your injuries of your warband rating), but that's why we're a forum: To discuss about those things... So, does the idea appeal to anyone and what are everyone's opinions about it? Greetz |

I would appreciate some action in the Mordheim chambers. But even more desirable would be finding some that wanted to play <_< My little warband ( http://underempire.net/index.php?showtopic=18761&hl= )never got the action they deserved. |

*wipes a tear from his face*... FINALLY, someone who understands. Nah, don't worry, I'm not going mental (yet). Still, seeing how you do agree that some more discussion(s) in the Mordheim forum would be a definite improvement, any ideas on how this can be achieved... Or how some more Mordheim action in general can be achieved? Greetz |

I was thinking, the eshin rpgs essentially run on Mordheim rules, albeit a modified rpg-ed version. Using the same graphical table-top format as the rpgs, we might be able to run real mordheim games on the UE itself between members, and everyone else can watch too. It's a bit unwieldy and will take some time to get through each turn, but we just might be able to have a demonstration game in the forum for those who can't get to play in real life, and any interested folk can also get to watch how mordheim is played. |

That would be interesting... although unwieldy, as you said. I would be willing to try that... though distance-measuring would be... interesting. :ph43r: A Mordheim ranking sounds cool though... I actually predicted that this would happen, and was thinking about ways it could work... my only idea was that each participant kept a running record sheet (here on the UE) of their warband's members, treasury, and battle results, and it could somehow all be factored into a ranking something... ![]() Just my __ tokens' worth. @scrivener: You're talking about a grid to work from then? Something like the COTEC AoD?@Morkskittar: *nods*... Yeah, that was eventually something along the lines of what I was thinking about. Updating the warband sheets wouldn't be too much of a hassle, but the main problem is eventually the ranking itself. I still think that a win/ draw/ loss ratio with the warband rating added to it is the 'easiest' way of creating a ranking for the Mordheim players. Greetz |

I'm not sure what the COTEC AOD grid system is... is it like a chess set, where someone says "move black skaven to J24, shoot at beastman at M31"? |

Perhaps someone can poke brownmccoy for some information? Seeing how he was the head honcho on that matter? Greetz |
