Shennanigans are out of the question!
So, I played my first game of warhammer the other night, against a good friend of mine who plays ogre kingdoms. I made a few realizations.

First turn and a half, I realized just how effing scary our ranged stuff is. Everything I had hit, didn't misfire, and did tons of damage (eight ogres killed in a turn). That, by the way, was one cannon, one unit of jezzails and one ratling gun.

I made the mistake, however, of underestimating their movement. I set up kind of cramped, and was intending to use first turn's movement to "assemble" and then move out on turn two.... bad idea.

That put me in charge range of his ogres, and in two turns time he had vaporised about 160 rats (of 180).

so, be more careful in setup, and let ogres come to you. wow.

He's portrayed as this sort of jovial, jolly old guy who thinks that rotting apocolyptic plague is funny as hell... So basically he's a big ole fat bastard who thinks giving you a scorching case of the herp is a big laugh." ---Kadrium
