When checking for a Frenzied unit to charge, what factors do I consider about the failure of the charge? If there is no space for the unit to charge through but there is LoS and distance, do they still charge (and fail)? Also, if the opposing unit is within 10" but my unit won't get to them (wheeling will leave less than enough movement) do I still charge (and fail)? If there is a unit in the way but the enemy is a large target (so I see it), do I still have to charge (and fail)? In all the above, if there is a Frenzied character in the unit and he has room to charge through, will he be forced to charge out of the unit? |

The only way a frenzied unit can fail his charge is when the opponent flees. So all the situations you mentioned, you don't charge. If there is a character in the unit, he does have to charge, even if the unit can't make it. |

I believe the answer is yes, IF they can make it by wheeling around the swarm as it stands. If not, then no.

Well it's kind of interesting because Monks actually have two points at which they charge during your movement phase; normal charge reactions and compulsory move actions. Compulsory moves are made at the end after other things (like your Swarm) make their charge moves, so if that action comes around and their's nothing blocking the way for the Monks at that point then they will have to charge the enemy that's in range. |

If i remeber well freny is checked at the end of the declare charge phase. But still it doesnt change anything to what you said, if the swarm also charge, if they charge the same target it count as a combined cahrge so you move everything so both can get in base contact equaly. If it charge a different target you have to declare the charge of the swarm first. Finally, if the swarm is not charging but then the plague monks have to be able to reach the enemy before being forced to charge the enemy. So you look if you can get around the swarm and still get to be in contact with the enemy. If you can't your not forced to charge. Finally bonus answer, if you put a plague priest in your unit and that he see the enemy but your plague monk unit can't get to it because of a swarm in the middle. You have to declare a charge with the plague priest alone who will gloriously charge head on, kill some guy and run back with it's tail between it's leg. |

Thanks for the answers. Can you explain just how can the Monks charge the Es with the swarm in the way? A unit can only turn once during its charge, and the monks need to turn to the right, move and turn again to the left in order to reach the Es... |

They turn just enough to go past the swarm and then clip the "E"s with their left corner. As long as you're touching you've made the charge and can (and I believe are required to) "slide in" you unit to the left so that they all can fight.
