No, but your picture-collecting skillz are pretty omnipotent enough that I wouldn't be surprised.

Alright. I'm with you there Vinz. Since I started working full time again, I have played... um... not much? Maybe 3 or 4 games of WFB (apart from my outrider thingy) since the new edition was released. It's not that I don't have people to play with, they just have proper jobs! And when we do play we tend to like Warmaster or Epic more... Still, none of us is selling our armies. Because really, I have been on and off the Warhammer train since the third edition, and just because I'm off now doesn't mean I won't get weirdly enthused a year in the future. And those models are pricey! I think one of the problems here is the painting bit. The thing that makes me adore WFB is the look of a complete and painted army standing there on the tabletop. It simply looks so damn cool! But some of our players are not very fond of painting either. So, there are two options there: 1: Buy a can of brown spray paint and cover them all. Really, you'd be surprised what a difference that makes. A friend of ours played with black nightgoblins in night camouflage for a long time, and it still looked decent since they were all synchronized. Eventually he made the huge step to actually paint all the spear tips metal, and they looked even cooler. Or... 2: I might be nuts but... how big is your army? 'cause it really doesn't take me that long painting rats... If it ain't humongous you might just send it to me and I'll finish it off to my outrider mini standards. That's decent, but quick. |
I am currently writing an epic Dragon Age 2 adventure that can be found HERE!! or on my deviantart.

You mean, how big is my army in total, or how big the unpainted parts are?
I suggest poking Sebrent on the progress... If you want a quick response, use a sharp stick. ![]() Yes... you can try the sharp stick... see what happens Greetz |

I am so traveling the same path as Comrat Rattsu that it's quite eerie, really. My current gaming focus is as detailed here, but without hijacking this thread (to any significant degree) I have to say that it's nobody's job to keep anybody else focused + fixated on Skaven (or any other army/ gaming system). My Skaven are now all safely tucked away in a nice safe drawer while big beautiful Sebeki rule my painting table, but I won't be selling them or ruling out their return to favour in time. It's all a matter of "do what you gotta do/ be what you gotta be" afaic! Have fun all. |
