I've had it pre-ordered so I'm picking it up tomorrow. Anyone else as excited as I am about finishing the fight?

If so.. what's your gamertag? :P

I'll probably be playing campaign mode for a while first (you're welcome to join me in the 4player coop off course ;) ), but when I get to the multiplayer bit don't be afraid to add Hyperion NL to your friends list.

Anyway, I'm totally stoked about it and was just curious to see if there were others sharing my excitement ^_^ .

Cheers,
Bodacious.

Really not.

(No offence meant, but I lost interest in computer games several years ago. Although I don't say no to a bit of semi-drunk Mario Party on the Gamecube ^_^ )

Dabbling GM. Clanrat loon. 6th Edition Aficionado. Bitter.

IF I had...

£50ish for a tv

£130 for a year's TV license

£300+ for an xbox 360 and peripherals

£40 for the game

...then I would be excited. However. I have no TV. No license. No Xbox 360 and haven't paid for the game.

And I certainly don't have a spare £520... (If only)

So. No. The complete lack of any possible ownership of the game for three years rather dampens my enthusiasm.

I'm intrigued as to how it'll finish (SPOILER (maybe) : Looks like Master Chief is being held by a brute cheiftain, defeated, possibly in the middle of a huge battle, when he activates a plasma grenade and kills them both... Almost like jesus. But with a battle. And the grenade. And the plasma. And aliens. And genetically enchanced and super-trained soldiers with massive battle armour and shield tech. But without the cross. Or the thorns and nails. Or the disciples. Or romans. Hmmmm... Interesting...)

But I'm not going nutz over it. *shrugs* It'd be pointless, and there are better things to be driven mad about (like people buying tickets for £3.50 and then attempting to sell them off for £7... Grr.. Stupid people. I can't get into the Heroes and villains night <_< ... I'll get them yet, just you wait! *suitable evil scientist cackle*... [/weird] Or the 150 miles t'wixt me and Akai.. [/soppy])

But. Yeah. Out of my price range, I'm afraid. It would have been a console and tv setup just for one game... or the largest part of my shiny new £850 laptop... ;) So it's just not worth me getting worked up about...

Now SPORE, on the other hand... *drools*

 Stink Out

Not at all. :P I don't play games at all anymore.... Tiberium III disillusioned me. :P

Actually, I still play Tiberian Sun, Red Alert 2, and Medal of Honour. And Mortal Kombat. That's about it. :P

My brother buys an X-Box 360 2 days before Halo 3 comes out.....
coincidence.... I think not.

So, he's excited... I'm not so much. I <3 the FPS genre, however, Computers have corrupted me from really getting into console games. I play probably 10-12 hours of CS: Source Online each week and it satisfies me completely. Computer games just offer so much more control that I get pissed when I play console and end up breaking controllers... with my opponents' faces....

Not really a fan of the Halo fluff (if i may steal the word) but looking forward to some 4 player Co-Op as well as some sweet multi-player action.

Should be a fun game, I've heard some good things.

Here here Stinky! Here here!

Yeah, I'll be honest. Since I've never been an overly huge fan of the FPS genre, Halo means nothing to me. Sorry mates.

Quiet, I'm plotting.

i'm not a huge Halo fan, but i did play the first two, and I did just buy an Xbox 360, so Halo 3 is on the card at some time.

The multiplayer looks like it has been inproved a lot, especially since they have moved on from the "two bases in a box canyon" theme.

^_^ It sure is.

I've been playing campaign for a while now and it just keeps getting better :P . Just blew up a scarab and it was awesome :D .

Now don't forget: gamertags! If anyone else has xbox live and wants to meet up for multiplayer sometime just add Hyperion NL To your friends list ;) .

Cheers,
Bodacious.

Bunny ear says flop

While I have been gasping a couple of times over the Halo 3 trailer, I am personally not really someone that immediately runs to the store when a game comes out. So, that's why I didn't have anything to do with World of Warcraft (as I despise games that you actually need to pay for to play them, AFTER YOU BOUGHT THEM...) and neither will I want anything to do with Warhammer Online. Bad concept, makes me think very bad of the capitalistic gaming industry and makes me really want to become a communist. Unfortunately, I'm not really such a big fan of weird ways nations are built, as I'm a Skaven by heart and therefor am still working on world domination.

Still, I believe we were talking about Halo 3, right?

Ah yes, we were... Well, I can be pretty short on that no. No Xbox, no money to buy an Xbox, too much minis to (still) paint. Guess that sums up my view on getting Halo 3 then.

have it, love it.

first of all, the graphics are top notch, better than gears of war.
2ndly, the story (unline halo 2) is awsome, im about half way through the campaign, than ill do it on heroic and finally LEGENDARY
lastly, the gameplay is better the Halo1 and 2. Youd think that impossible, but nay, it is.

If you wonderin, I lined up till midnight to get it :D
