So I just purchased a boat-load of GW stuff from a hobby shop that is getting out of selling GW items. All GW minis were 80% off!!! Unfortunately, I just found this out this morning, and the sale had started yesterday, so most of the good stuff was gone. But I went to the shop and picked up a bunch of random stuff anyway (Paints were $0.75, brushes were $1.20) and also a random assortment of minis.

The only Skaven stuff they had was a box of Rat Ogres and two Warpfire Throwers, so I picked those up--the Rat Ogre Box set was $8.00!!!!

I'm sorry, but I'm geeking out a little hard right now, because I just got so much stuff for a rediculous price! Here's the list of goods:

3x 6th Edition Warhammer Fantasy Box Sets
1x Lord of the Rings, The Return of the King: Forces of the Dark Lord
1x Lord of the Rings, Strategy Battle Game: Warriors of the Pelennor Fields
2x Dark Elf Cold One Knights Box Sets
1x Skaven Rat Ogres and Giant Rats Box Set
1x OOP Dwarf Rangers Box Set
1x Chaos Lord of Change : Greater Daemon of Tzeentch Box Set
1x Eldar Guardians Box Set
1x Tau Sniper Drone Team Box Set
2x Skaven Warpfire Throwers Blister
2x Chaos Daemonettes Champion of Slaanesh on Steed of Slaanesh Blister
2x Flamers of Tzeentch Blister
1x Albion Truthsayer Blister

2x Citadel Scenery City Ruins
2x Base Brushes
2x Large Brushes
1x Citadel Modelling Pliers
1x Citadel Modelling Saw

Least to say, I got this for right under $175.00. Ebay, here I come!!!!

A question for you: Would I be right in saying that this should have cost you around $875?

Personally I would recommend going into the nearest gw store, show them the receipt, leap onto the games table, dance around a bit and sing a silly song just to rub it in......

Then sell it on ebay. :D
So I'm attacking your slaves with 5 chosen knights **throws dices** and horses **throws more dices** ok you are at -9 to Ld there is no way ...** a dice throw** .... F@@k !

The best part of it all is that I got the three 6th Ed Warhammer game boxes for $7.50 each, so $22.50 for all three. That is just rediculous!!

I'm wondering why I bought the Lord of the Rings crap. I can't even find the boxed sets I got on the GW website. Oh well....

Nice capture there.
Can't you use the LotR figures as slaves??
One can always use slaves. Even Eshins need some real practice.

LotR figures use a different scale from warhammer, so they'll end up looking like pygmies. Quite unfortunate, since they're quite nice.
