Greetings, all. I've been wondering: how do I get a photograph of a model from a camera/phone onto my computer? I have a cable to plug it into the back of my computer, and it makes a few funny noises, but other than that, nothing happens...anyone have any ideas what to do? |

I'm not sure how your camera/phone works, but you might need to bring up the appropriate file on your gizmo (if applicable), and then press the appropriate buttons on your gizmo (if applicable), then it might notify you on the gizmo or the computer, then you locate the "removable disk" drive on your cpu (if it doesn't automatically load). Something like that, anyway....

Usually, computers see plugged-in digital photo cameras simply as a removable disk, so once you plug it in and go to My Computer, it ought to show an icon that leads towards the memory of your photo camera. After that, it's simply a matter of copy/paste and be done with it... If your computer can't find your photo camera, it might be the case that you need to either install a disk that came along with your camera or download some driver from the internet. (This can usually be found at the homepage of the company your camera is bought from). A phone is a bit more tricky, as not all of them use cables. As such, I'm not sure how that would work, as I've got no experience at all with infrared ports and/ or bluetooth. Greetz |
