I was never great at creating things out of scratch in photoshop, i prefer to scan stuff in then colour it or import it from something like Flash where you have more drawing tools available.

oh, and again, Giger rocks.

I like most of Giger's stuff, but the works involving what look like aborted foetuses get to me.

Anyhoo, some of my non-skaven stuff.

Wow Scriv!

Once again I wish for the day when I have a banner in my sig done by yours truly.

Also, where did you get inspiration for the top drawing? You scare me sometimes

@Scriv: Those look pretty cool! But for the Wood Elf I prefer the version with "Scrivener" plastered across it so that those damn Wild Hunters couldn't steal it! :P

@everyone else: Your stuff is cool too! Not being biased here! :P

Wow

All the different shades of grime and patches and the the light effect on the wall and the girl on that first one. Just so detailed.

Could I borrow your wood elves for avatars/sigs on the wood elf forum I am on? I will of course mention they are done by you.

Aalso, where did you get inspiration for the top drawing?

I walked into my bathroom one day and went "Hey, hold that pose, I think I'll draw it" :P Kidding. I would have been more worried about getting the blood-stains out if that really happened.

I do ink as in with regular pens. Usually do the picture with pencil/pen, it only goes into photoshop for colours. 2# and 3# are ink on paper (with red ink for 2#), and this one here is pen on canvas:

The only thing about inking on canvas is that it can sometimes get that blurry/branchy effect as the ink soaks in. Depends on the type of canvas, ink, and how hard you're pressing as well.

@Dema: Thanks~! ^_^ Last two pics inspired by my closet love for asrai...

@Burrows: The sexy waywatcher is WIP but go for it. Sorry, but "Tethlis of the Hall of Narahon" already belongs to someone.

Well I was going to cut the name bit and hope I never met some one with the same picture. If you finish the sexy way watcher I would be (very) very happy if I could use that one even if someone else is already using it.

Neither of them really portray the kind of characters I had thought of for my army so far I would just like them because they are so damn cool. *Grins*

and is that angel wearing an ipod?

Quiet, I'm plotting.

I do a bit of freelance editorial illustration. I'll see what else I can dig up, but heres a piece of editorial illustration that I finished a couple of days ago.

This took, lets see. Three weeks to do. To actually draw and colour it took about 6 hours, the rest is time spent in meetings, briefs, visuals, approvals, revisions and other run things.

Wow, there's a lot of great artist in here, you know that  ?

Off course I knew about scriv (that wood elf waywatcher was for made for bribing purposes in the 'hour of the wolf' right? :P ), but it really surprised me to see so many other great talent. You guys should all do some stuff for the gazette ^_^ .

Specific comments:
@scriv: I love how it says 'wall' on the wall in the first pic :P .
@Dema: Those dragons are sooo bad-ass! You should check if you could do work on magic: the gathering cards ^_^ .
@Sings: Yay for grafiti  !

As for myself, I'm far too lazy to put in the effort of attempting to do proper art. If music counts though, I might revisit this thread sometime and post some songs. I'd have to find the time to finish/record them though  .

Cheers,
Bodacious.

What kind of music do you write/play, Bodacious?

I dabble in rude, poorly recorded songs.

Scriv................:o WOAH!

Your skaven drawings are amazing, but you rendered colour stuff is just incredible. :o

I can see where you focus your 'closet love' for the Asrai on now. :P hehe.

The thing that strikes me most about your work is the style more than anything.
The way you draw cloaks and bits of clothing makes them look very fluidic and seems to bring an element of movement into your drawings. Its extremely impressive!

I only ever did pencil drawings at school and then they were mostly stuff inspired by Giger. I managed to scare a few of my teachers with some wierd drawings. Wish I still had them! <_<
Dema in a PM about my fluff

Wish I could plot like you can, you must have a mind like a corkscrew to turn all those scheming corners

The closest to artistic talent that I get is: My gosh that picture is beautiful.

Scrivvy, I am dying to see more of your Wood Elf work, that is possibly my favourite drawing from your vast portfolio - and my favourite asrai EVER! WOW

@clanlord trask: I play electric guitar and was in a rock band about half a year ago. We had our own songs, but with the singer moving to another city we kinda stopped playing as none of the other band members (myself included) could actually sing  . I've never been great on lyrics, but I plan to start working on them during the vacation and maybe even take singing lessons sometime :P . After that there may eventually apear some material on the net.

Your stuff sounded cool though ^_^ . A little 'rough round the edges', but nobody's perfect ;) .
