I believe it was specified in the v2.2 (pre Warmaster Armies) armylist for Skaven, but I no longer find wether the screaming bell needs a grey seer to use it or not. Can anyone confirm this?

Skaven Army Book says on page 30 that the screaming bell is a special chariot ridden by the grey seer and must be fielded in a unit of clanrats or stormvermin. The grey seer may never leave the bell voluntarilly, nor may the unit pushing it.

The screaming bell may not be fielded on it's own just like you can't have a dragon or carnosaur fielded without a rider.

EDIT: Wait a minute... this is the warmaster forum  . Sorry, I don't know jack about warmaster. Feel free to disregard this post <_< .

Cheers,

*snickering*

About the question; it's irrelevant, I think

The only general available for a Skaven army in Warmaster is a Seer (unless something changed that I don't know about).
Every army (no matter the size) must have one general, so the Seer is a given.
The maximum number of Screaming Bells in the army is 1.

So...

You always have a Seer if you decide to include the Bell.

The diff between Warmaster & WFB is that the SB isn't a mount.
That's all I think.

Well, yes... That is indeed true. I guess the question was asked somewhat poorly. What I meant was wether the grey seer needs to be put on the screaming bell when taken in the army or wether the two move around seperately.

*ponders*... But I guess the answer to that would be a no then.

Okay, that's clear...

... Another question then: Is it useful to put them in the same brigade as a grey seer? Or are they too expensive for what they can do?
