Basically I'm trying to throw together a list and if all is said and done I should be able to use it in a tournament in the summer. I'm debating on one part of the army though. and when I get to that point I'll post more information about it. Without further adieu.... Hero's and Lords Crom the Conqueror (230 pts) Exalted Champion (251 pts) - great weapon - helm of many eyes (strikes first) - shield - chariot Aspiring Champion (230 pts) - BSB - Banner of the gods (all units within 6" become stubborn) Sorcerer of Chaos (170 pts) - level 2 - 2 dispel scrolls 14 Chaos Warriors (220 pts) - sheilds - full command 14 Chosen Warrios (324 pts) - shields - full command 5 Chaos Knights (215 pts) - full command Chariot (120 pts) Then either: A) 40 Warhounds (240 pts) - 8 packs of 5 20 Warhounds (120 pts) - 4 packs of 5 6 Chaos Marauder Horsemen (120 pts) - shields - full command Total Army Cost:2000 pts Models: 79/65 Units: 10/14 plus the BSB Power Dice: 4 Dispel Dice: 3 Dispel Scroll: 2 Total lord and hero cost: 881 Total Core cost: 1119 I'm almost thinking of using the marauders since it'll be 14 models less to paint and with 14 less models it might be a tough easier to get around on the table. Any thoughts are welcome. It's a basic list there isn't too many points tied up into magic items. With the exalted champion in the chariot he's set up to be able to have 4 attacks with a great weapon that always attacks first unless someone else has something that allows them to always attack first then after that it's initiative 7. If I stick the bsb in behind all the warriors and get them in the thick of thing everyone's going to have to kill everything instead of losing the warriors to overrun. Obviously crom will be stuck in with the chosen group while the unchosen will get the sorcerer with them. Not sure what lore to use with the sorcerer. The marauders and knights on the flanks with two chariots to help them out, and 4 units of warhounds to get in the way and screen, bait, sacrifice, or just to lure troops with frenzy away from the fighting. I think this will be a strong list, great in hand to hand, just have to watch out for high strength attacks on the chariots, but if I have screens of warhounds in front of them it shouldn't be too bad. With the speed I should be able to chase everyone into either getting attacked on the flank or having to deal with the warriors. I don't have all the models yet, but I need to purchase the warhounds/marauders crom and a chariot. I'd be picking up the goblin wolf riders for the warhounds to expand my orc force at the same time. Anyways I talk to much what do you guys think about this? |

So few models... and no marauders? A chaos army, especially with such expensive characters needs marauders for numbers
