Question: Is there a new fallen giant template? 'Cause the new giant is substantially larger than the giant depicted on the old template. Just wondering... |

The new giant's fall can be interpretended that he fell on his rump.

The latest one they made is the plastic template you can buy, which i think they made a paper copy of on there website you can print off and use. |

The plastic template is based on the old giant, not the new one. I think you can carefully tilt the giant model on his side as his own template though........but I could be wrong. |

well usually we just tilt the giant carefully so much easier. But otherwise no new template the plastic one is the same as the old one. |

An idea just occured to me: if the rules allow us to tilt the giant model and see how many models are under the giant when he falls down, what if soneone modelled a particularly obese giant? Wont that thing take out an entire unit just by falling over? Just a funny thought..... |

The warpfire thrower didn't get a new template when it got a lot bigger. Base size and template size is what counts, not the size of the model on the base. :ph43r: |

I always went by how big the model was and which way it fell for what the giant hits or am I going against the rules. It seems to make more sense that way.

Read the rules. Says that you have to use the fallen giant template so it probably means that you can't use the model itself. *grumbles loudly as he puts away the super-obese-giant-that-ended-up-looking-more-like-an-oversized-greater-daemon-of-nurgle into the WIP pile* |
