yeah, the first 2 opponents were pretty poor tbf, the last one wasn't as bad. his furies made short work of my treb', but that was largely due to it misfiring the first turn and not having the chance to shoot again after that lol. out of pretty much everyone at my club, i think i'm the only person to flee charges lol. everyone else seems to be hot on expensive units that they're too scared to flee with. in all honesty though they got munched by my lances whatever happens lol, least if they fled they'd have a chance of escaping and charging me. maybe lol. the scenery was pretty favourable in the first game (hill on either side, rock formation near the middle for my fast cav to hide behind). in the second game it was rather inclosed around my DZ, so i had limited LoS for my treb, but he set his warriors up facing it, so you know... third game had a hill in his end and a house just infront of mine on the right for my fast cav to hide behind again lol. no-one complained about my list. they complained about bret's in general. the khorne player telling me they were way over powered due to their good armour save, ward save, high M, lance formation, damsels, trebuchets, paladins, hell, the whole list is completely out of balance and only a noob could lose with them. but i still felt good when i pwned his blood soaked ass
