If you are a fan of injuries play feild hockey (the only real hockey in my opinion), getting hit by a ball that quite regularly gets up to Shoab Ahktar type speeds (150+ kmph) tends to hurt. Definately not for the faint hearted.

If you want to play sport for fun go down to your local sporting club and play a pretty low grade, it's fun and you still get exercise.

adrenalin works too. try mountain biking, parkour, snowboarding... all those nice things. plus, mountain biking and parkour are very physical sports and it's pretty much impossible not to have fun doing parkour

Hacky Sack, ^_^ , Street Football... Games where you don't need any rules or equipment, except the ball. Ice Hockey owns all, but I can't skate so it's just a game to watch for me. GO SENS!

I'm into Basketball myself, and play Guard (point or shooting depending on who else is on the team).

If you dislike injuries, then Basketball being a 'non contact' sport is great for you.
But don't be fooled, I've played in basketball games which have more contact the Rugby!

But you lot seem to be fans of getting injured, so meh, unless you play the [sacramento] Kings, you won't get hurt badly.

And yes, I dislike Artest!

The healthiest sport is (apparently) swimming. Almost no chance of injuring yourself, and trains many muscles at once. Just don't drown and you'll be fine.

Not as much fun as a game, though. My neighbour loves waterpolo for this reason, combines the best parts of both.
"I have a post-Armageddon vision. We and all other large animals are gone. Rodents emerge as the ultimate post-human scavengers. They gnaw their way through New York, London and Tokyo... within 5 million years, a whole range of new species replace the ones we know. Herds of giant grazing rats are stalked by sabre-toothed predatory rats. Given enough time, will a species of intelligent, cultivated rats emerge?"

I don't know about that, a keeper on my team a couple of years ago got his helmet bent so badly that it cut his forhead open, and last week our keeper got hit in the head and got his helmet knocked off.still sfaer than the rest of us though.

Nope. In stead of injuring yourself, you drown!

I'm currently out for a week (the last one of four) due to having stressed the bones in my feet from having saved too many shots with my feet, that and my kickers are starting to die. And your helmet isnt there for protection, its there to make you look pretty.
