Anyone in the underhalls going to be dropping the skavenade and spending a night on the Guinness? I know I will be and I shall return to my burrows late at night with a big stupid hat, weighing at least half a stone more than when I left!

Please enlighten me S'nkeep. I've always wondered about where St Paddies day came from. I just use it as an excuse to drink a crap load of guinness. ![]() My record is 14 pints so far (in one day). Four years ago.

you mean heineken? Anyways, I dont care much for st pattys day. It's just a day where everybody gets smashed, even though they're 3-4 years underaged. I dont drink, so it's just another day for me. |

No, he means Guiness. Its an Irish beer. Heineken is a Dutch beer. Thus very appropriate for Octoberfest (or Oktoberfest for my commie friends). I am not Irish (nor were my ancenstors), but I will have some corned beef and cabbage this evening. Yum Yum. MR |
