Nice idea, but might get cumbersome playing with models with all these trees stuck on them? There's the risk of models breaking or the nightrunners falling off etc, unless the material you use for the trees are sturdy (not twigs) and everything is securely fixed to one another and to the base. |

Agreed. Remember that your nightrunners will be used for running in and out of bits of terrain etc. The conversion idea is a good one, but will ultimately be far too cumbersome for gaming situations I feel. Maybe you could have them hidden in small bushes, on the bases? That would be cool and not too awkward. Or just do a dioramma of the ninja thing!

It's a fantastic idea, but don't waste it on the rabble. I've found that by doing basic jobs on the Night Runners, and the highly creative spiffy jobs on the elites it both makes it easier to paint up the whole army, and makes your special stuff seem even more special by way of contrast with the plebs. My most highly creative work in my ninjrats is on my Triad and Sensei. And I took apart the Triad, reconverted them and repainted them after finally working out how to use them best. Which says it all really! |
