Here is a link to my Warlock Engineer Ingenious Devices:

Not sure which version it is though. The most current one is on the Hammer & Anvil forum. Here's the link to it there:

I haven't had time to read through all of these posts yet. Once I do, I'll make sure to drop my two tokens' worth. I also have a number of Skryre projects lying around in a notebook that I'll dig out and post.

some kind of retinue for warlocks.
Infact, I probably just saw that when you posted it here before, and partialy remembered it (enough to think it was a good idea, but not enough to remember it's already been done).

What about real warlocks (as in actuall magic), like the oldschool ones.
Or bieing able to give warlock engineers a familiar (part of Gnashik's retinue type thing), like the inquisitor's one from 40k, exept more expensive, max one per warlock, and gives another spell rather than a phsycic power (obviously). And if they had one they would have to re-roll if they got warp-lightning when generating spells (as they can alrady get it through warp-blades)

At one point I had created rules for a Skaven familiar. It was called a Verminwyrd (taken from the Book of the Rat). It was more for a Seer though as it allowed the caster to re-roll failed Warpstone tests.

However, a similar idea could be done for Skryre warlocks. If a 1 is rolled when determining the number of hits caused by the warp lightning spell, it may be re-rolled. The new result stands, even if it is a 1. If double 1s are rolled for determining hits, the warlock suffers no hits from the spell but the familiar explodes from absorbing too much errant power. The retinue takes D6 S5 hits. Possible cost: +15 pts.

All hail the Age of Skaven
mabey you could do like they did to horrors and flamers in deamonic leigons that they become seperate units while keeping them 1 team per unit they dont have to start next to their unit or make it is you can only take 1-2 weapon teams per character

might be a bit of useless info as im not very skyre but hey bad imput is better than none at all
Shhhh I'm not here
