Yeah there is a WFT in the middel og the unit because, they experiment with warpstone, and they force the slave så touch the stone, and the WFT is there if the slave go mad then he will be toast!

Actually I find that Snotlings make wonderful slaves; you just by one blister pack and you have about 15 ready made slaves at your disposal. Just by some individual square bases and your set. Plus you can't beat their expressions

That's another unit sorted then ![]() I reckon that's me set: one of zombies, one of snotlings, one of pusbags and one of modified clanrats. Then, of course, I just mix them up, because it'd probably look better than organised blocks of uniform troops. Great, someone else asks the questions, I get the help

A lot of folks mention chaining their slaves together. Since I am working on a Pestilens list, when I get around to making my pussbags/slaves I will use fine string to tie a few together in lieu of chains. Perhaps placing a few of them them on calvary bases, even. I just don't see Pestilens having access to too much metal. (Although they could always scavenge.) |

The best chain pestilence could have his some kind of plauge the infest theyre salve and they are the only one to have a way to keep them alive (some kind of potion maybe). To represent this you could have someone in the back holding a bottle or even hanging it over thme on a long fishing rod

I was three models short of my three units of slaves.... now I can add packmasters! I don't want to buy them, so time to convert! I put my five "zombies as human slaves" (a couple with empire heads) together.... the results on a couple of them were less impressive than I had expected. I'll post some pics after I rework them. I'm not too worried about my goblins fitting in, and the skinks actually rank up nicely. I'll have to do some research to figure out how to make skinks look sickly... maybe a trip to the pet store and look at a "caring for reptiles" book.

I was thinking of using a unit of dwarfs painted sorta dirty and rusty with zombie weapons used instead of the normal great dwarfs weapons, then taling small jewlers chain and cutting it up and connecting a few here and there with arm shackles. May be even using a human head here or there with a sculpted beard over a neck collar as slaves. To me they seem the most appropriate choices.

I considered Dwarfs since they do make sense fluff-wise, but anything that looks too armoured, I reckon, doesn't really work. | ||

For my Slaves I use a mix of Skinks, Dwarves, Goblins, Snotlings, and other left overs (an old wardancer ect.). I then also use a Rat Ogre with a packmaster (you now get a lot of those when you want to buy giant rats ) in the middle as the ones driving the slaves forward. The only problem I see with using other races as slaves are the stats on the slaves .... do a Dwarvf suddenly get movement 5 because it's a slave?
