The infamous Ratdragon! When the omens are right, and the great master mutators of Clan has eaten quite a load of warp-stone, sometimes it happens that one of the mighty dragons of the warhammer world are captured. And, as any wicked scientist known, dragons are very interesting, especially under those boring scales... This is a new mount for the most lordy and moulderly character of the list, and will cost about 300 points. M2 WS2 BS0 S5 T4 W7 I1 A4 Ld2 Special rules: Stupid, Fly, terror, brainfull. Stupid: What did you expect? Fly: The Rat Dragon has some kind of dragon wings, the many holes patched with something unmentionable. Terror: I bet you wouldn't want to wittness this beauty. Moulder experiments has it's effect on things. It would, for example, just barely pass the limitations on using animals in modern science. Brainfull: This creature isn't brainless, as many witnesses may think, but the Master Moulder responsible has just got the "the more the better" approach to such things as brains. Bad things may happend when this creature goes mad. Roll on the following table, when it fails a Stupidity test. D6: 1. The Rat Dragon decides to roll around on the ground. This has som negative effects on the rider. Remove the poor rat, and make a monster reaction test. 2-3 Doh! Have you ever noticed that the sky's interesting? Anyways, have a look. The Rat Dragon may not move, shoot or fight in close clombat this turn. It is hit automaticly. 4. It really goes stupid. Use the normal rules for Stupidity 5 The Brain in the foot has allied with the tail brain, and starts a small war against the head one. The Dragon suffers a wound. 6 rampage! That unit looks tasty for sure... With a gread leap, the Rat Dragon lands in the closest unit (friend or foe) within 20" and line of sight. Not only does it fight until either unit breaks or is killed, but it inflicts a small template, placed with the hole anywhere on the target unit, worth of str 4 hits. That's what the get for having a dragon land on their head! I'm not compleatly sure if this has been done before, but I just found the "House rule" part of this forum, and thought I could share my creation originally posted in http://warhammer.org.uk/PhP/viewtopic.php?t=6053 Though I cannot take all the credit for the concept. |

The theme is great! As for rules and stats, you might need to "alter" them -hehe. Oh how I would love my ratdragon to start rolling arnoud on the ground, with myself strapped in the harness! If I were to witness that I would start laughing for hours! |

I love the basic idea of some freakishly big flying jawed thing, but I always have issues with mounts for Skaven and/or dwarfs. Maybe increase its leadership to 7, and have it unridden. It's brainful rule works nicely to balance it out so it's not too powerful. I like it Good starting point for it most definitly.Mabus |

Brings back memories, eh Stinky? Personally, I'd alter the WS and Wounds. WS should be at least three here. They're big and nasty, yes, but very few things have 7 wounds, not even the Chaos Dragon. 6 tops would be my suggestion. Otherwise me likey. |
