It would certainly be in character with a Skaven army for the wounds to contribute to CR. However, there wouldn't be that many instances where you would be using the Slave Lash rule before working out CR in the Close Combat phase. Psychology tests are generally taken during the current phase. Of course it could be argued that the wounds should contribute to CR for such things as fear or terror tests when being charged. I can see the point of this, and after all, they are only slaves. Pardon me for rambling as I come to the point that: Yes, they would contribute to CR. I'll add that in now. |

I think the rule makes sense as a slave unit command extra, the slaves should have someone with a whip minding over them, otherwise why would they move around and stuff instead of just cowering or fleeing. it's fluffy. Though the amount contributed, is that a tad high or is it considered ok? it's D6 S3 wounds... should be fine, in the event it kills a good 6 rats, that's a pretty good increase, but that's also over a rank worth of slaves. |

I like it, I was thinking of just having some pakmasters in the rear ranks of my slave units, and just counting them as slaves. But this is much better, and makes more sense |

Ok, the rules for Slavemasters are as complete as I can make them. The only change I've made lately was renaming the "Great Leader" ability "Taskmaster." I got some good feedback on my Warlock Engineer Ingenious Devices on the Hammer and Anvil forum. So, I'm gonna put the Slavemasters rules up there too so that players of other armies can criticize them. That should give me an even better idea of how fair they are. Thanks again for all of the helpful comments concerning them. |
