A while ago I bought a Mordeim miniture called Veskit (i think thats how u spell it?), he is a Skaven Master Assassin. He has fighting claws and each one has a built in pistol. I also think his armour save is 3+. Anyway I was wondering if anyone nows the rules for this mystirious character? I can't find him in the Skaven book so he must be in the Mordeim of GW mags.
Feedback appreciated!

There are rules in the mordheim rulebook we cannot publish these rules on teh net because of copyright infringement however we can point you towards this cheerful site :

http://www.specialist-games.com/mordheim/a.../3Campaigns.pdf

pg 114.

and strictly speaking this should be in the mordheim section not the house rules :P

You wouldn't really be able to use him in regular warhammer battles, due to the mordheim related special rules. With a bit of tweakng here and there though....

As for nominations: Frankie, of course, because I love to vote for him and watch him fail

i can personally testify that veskit is THE greatest character in Mordheim, especially when backed up by my assassin adept and 2 black skaven, all armed with fighting claws, although Veskit doesnt need them :pmaster:

Hell no, Aenur is easily the best :P

He can take on warbands on his own (seen it happen) Dev

Fair point... But Aenur would still have Veskit :P

Maybe I'm just a biased elf player...

Great, a yes/no game... So, to solve your problems, let's do an Aenur vs. Veskit smackdown.

Aenur strikes first
3 Attacks
To hit: 2+ (re-roll any failed to hit) -- Veskit may parry.
To wound: 2+ (critical hit on a 5+)
Saving throw: 5+
+1 to all injury rolls

Veskit strikes back
4 Attacks
To hit: 4+
To wound: 2+ (critical hit on a 6+)
Saving throwing: 5+
No modifier to injury rolls

If you look at the above, you'll notice that Aenur has the best chance to take Veskit down. He'll strike first, has to roll no ones on his dices and has the possibility to take him down... BUT Veskit only goes down on an O.o.A.-result on the injury roll. I think that such a roll might save his life, but that's a lot of if's that need to happen then. It's a close one... I think people would have to try this one out.

The above analysis of the models is in a combat, not shooting. Besides, Aenur has dodge so it's not guaranteed that Veskit guns him down before he reaches the furry dude.

The skills they have are included in the above example of the fight between the two of them.
