I have added conversion tips for Carnistrik, something I forgot to do previously. I will, as per Morkskittar's request, do the Doombull one next (in a bit) and then put the choice (once again) in the public's hands. Not including Vorg. However, note that I've already come up with the Fourth Floor one, so it'll be a choice between Griskit Lord of Sludge, the surprise Fourth Floor one, and Lord Verminkin. |

Monstirot may be taken in a Clan Moulder army instead of Throt the Unclean or Ghoritch the Castellan. He must always be the general and counts as a Lord and a Hero choice. MONSTIROT THE HORNED MUTATOR OF THE 2ND CIRCLE: 325 Points Monstirot was a young packmaster who worked to the South of the Hellpit, capturing the many mutants and beasts that lurked within the dark forests of the Empire. His skill with capturing and breaking beasts was far greater than his skill at moulding them, so he was delegated to near-constant stakeouts at beastman altars and mutant hideaways, only ever returning to break whatever upstart creatures he had captured. This life of work with none of the prestige that every Skaven desires made him bitter, and further fueled his desire to capture the one beast that eluded him, the monstrosity that ruled the forest; a Doombull of Chaos Undivided. The ruler of the outpost of Clan Moulder, Sculptake, had given him direct orders to report the location of the beast, not to capture it himself. This was (as Monstirot knew) not because his lord didn't want to risk the life of an excellent beastmaster, but because he wished to claim the gigantic minotaur for himself, earning him greater standing within Clan Moulder. Monstirot would not let this happen. Tracking the abomination back to it's blood-soaked lair, scattered with skulls of human and mutant alike, Monstirot set about constructing a series of traps, linked to rope tied to the blacked twisted tree that hung over the bull's cave. He then returned to Sculptake with the news that he had captured the creature. His master, all thoughts of his own security abandoned in his exitement, made the perfect bait that drew out the minotaur lord. His master slain and a mighty creature of chaos broken to is will, Monstirot returned to the Hellpit, rising to Beastmaster on the back of the money he made from his servant in the pits. With the death of Sutifig, the Master Mutator of the 2nd Circle to "natural causes" the position of Mutator was up for grabs. Knowing that the choices had been narrowed to down to himself and Izak Grottle, Monstirot was wary of attempts on his life. Not wary enough. Grievously wounded by an Eshin Assasin who had been finished off by the Doombull, Monstirot fused himself to his most powerful beast in a desperate bid to stay alive. It worked, and he was chosen by Lord Verminkin, impressed by the hybrid's determination and strength. Now Monstirot rules the 2nd circle, living proof that Clan Moulder can control even the most powerful children of chaos. Monstirot: M:6 WS:5 BS:4 S:4 T:4 W:3 I:6 A:3 Ld:7 Doombull: M:6 WS:6 BS:3 S:5 T:5 W:4 I:5 A:5 Ld:7 Weapon and Armour: Monstirot has a Whip and Light Armour. The Doombull has a Great Weapon and Heavy Armour. Special Rules: Beastmaster, Terror, Chaos Controlled, Bloodgreed, Two are One, Bullkin Beastmaster: Ogre and Clanrat alike fear the power of Monstirot, and obey his orders without question. All Clan Moulder units within 6" of Monstirot may re-roll all failed Phycology tests. Terror: As if the Doombull wasn't bad enough, those who face Monstirot must stare down a terrible hybrid of humanoid rat and oversized minotaur. He causes Terror. Chaos Controlled: Beast and Mortal Chaos units that can draw line of sight to Monstirot are at -1 Ld. Bloodgreed: Monstirot may never overrun, even if forced to by Physcology. He pursue's 3D6" instead of 2D6". Two are One: Monstirot counts as riding a Monstrous Mount. He may use two handweapons despite being on a steed. If the Doombull is killed Monstirot's movement becomes 0, he is automatically hit in Close Combat, and has -1 to hit for all of his attacks. Bullkin: Not being too good at mutating himself, Monstirot does not use carefully moulded creatures, prefering to use unmodified, naturally mutated, or crudely upgraded beasts. Hell Pit armies led by Monstirot may not use Mutated Rat Ogres or Burrowing Behemoths. They may use Minotaurs from the Beasts Of Chaos book as a 0-1 Special choice. Units of Minotaurs in a Hell Pit list have the Loss of Packmasters rule and are accompanied by Packmasters in the same way as Rat Ogres. Conversion Ideas: Monstirot+Doombull: Use either the Doombull or Minotaur with Great Weapon model. Fit the head a little lower on the body, and fill the gap with greenstuff and the upper half of a packmaster. use greenstuff to model scar tissue around the join point. |

Wow... nice job there, though instead of the two as one rule you could have combined their profile... But don't worry about my only comment! Nice job! |

I was going to save this for last, but Kill-Kill is just too nice... Damn, I ought to get a medal for doing this. or a fancy title, like: Moulder of Moulders. That'd be cool. Ain't gonna happen, of course, but it'd be cool. Lord Verminkin may be used in a Skaven Hell Pit army instead of Throt the Unclean or Ghoritch the Castellan. He takes up a Lord and two hero choices, and must always be your general. LORD VERMINKIN, PACKLORD AND GRAND LAIRMASTER OF THE GREAT CLAN MOULDER: 425 Points The occupant of the Eleventh Seat of the Council is Lord Verminkin, who is not the most proficient breeder of his Clan, but certainly one of the most politically astute, and one of the most mercenary members on the Council. The Lord of Moulder is a heavyset Skaven, larger than most, with shocking red fur that makes other Skaven uneasy. He often seems preoccupied, always toying about with something on his person, but his roving eyes betray his absentminded acts. Legend has this Master of Mutators staring down Hydras (which is not an easy task when your eyes are outnumbered) and capturing Giants without the aid of traps, which (perhaps more amazingly than the legends) are easily believed given the Packlord's blood-red burning gaze and much-feared strength. Constantly playing off all the factions, selling his services to all parties, Lord Verminkin revels in the position that this power gives him. His heavy-handed approach to politics is carefully calculated to conceal his behind the scenes maneuvering. Lord Verminkin is one of the Council's most active and unpredictable members, near constantly collapsing the schemes of the other members and undermining their plots for increased influence. Although one council member, the Plaguelord Nurglitch, has been able to avoid having his long planned and highly complex bid for greater power prematurely wrecked by the unpredictable Lairlord, rumours suggest that the burning gaze of Moulder has turned on Clan Pestilens and discovered its schemes... Under his control, Clan Moulder can only continue to experience further successes and greater prestige. Lord Verminkin: M:6 WS:7 BS:4 S:5 T:5 W:4 I:7 A:5 Ld:8 Weapons and Armour: Whip of the Packlord, Hellblade, Heavy Armour, Beastblood Charm Special Rules: Packlord, Living Toys, Sadisitic, Monstrous Menagerie Packlord: The most powerful fighter on the Council of Thirteen didn’t get where he was today by letting beasts get uppity. And Verminkin views all around him as beasts to be broken… Clan Moulder units within 12” of Lord Verminkin may re-roll all failed leadership tests. Living Toys: The ruler of Clan Moulder dotes on some beasts, feeding them titbits (slaves) and riding them to battle, before finding another, more interesting creature and discarding the old. Lord Verminkin may choose to ride a Monstrous Mount from any army at no additional cost. Sadistic: Verminkin loves to see other beings in pain, and strives to make his opponents scream… Lord Verminkin may re-roll rolls to hit and to wound in close combat. Monstrous Menagerie: The most powerful Moulder in existance, Verminkin has access to beasts from across the Old World and beyond. Skaven Hell Pit armies led by Lord Verminkin may add the following units to their list. These units are from other armies, and therefore do not have their stats included here: Special: Minotaurs* Chaos Ogres* Chaos Trolls* Kroxigor* Terradon Riders** Ogre Bulls* Ogre Ironguts* Ogre Leadbelchers* Yhetees* Squig Herds** Rare: Giants Chaos Giants Chaos Spawn War Hydras** Salamander Hunting Packs** Stegadons** Slave Giants *The unit gains packmasters in the same way as Rat Ogres, and gains the special rule "Loss Of Packmasters". **Replace any herders, handlers, riders etc with Skaven Packmasters. The unit gains the special rule: “Loss Of Packmasters”. Whip Of The Packlord: A whip of extremely tough thorn-rope, this many-tailed whip slices through the air, striking everything in its path. +1 Attack. This may be used alongside the Hellblade as an Additional Handweapon. Hellblade: When this blade cuts into the flesh of a being too weak to stomach its energies, it twists them into new and (to a Moulder) delightful forms, leaving them screaming mockeries of their former selves. If Lord Verminkin wounds a roughly man-sized model with only one wound on its profile, place a Throtling in base-to-base contact with him. Beastblood Charm: A crude glass bauble carved with Skaven symbols and filled with the blood of an Abberation, this disgusting pendant lets out a sickly red glow that stops attacks against its bearer. Lord Verminkin has a 4+ Ward Save. Conversion Ideas: New Units: Just use the models. With Packmasters. Verminkin: Using the new Skaven Warlord as a basis, replace the left blade with a packmaster whip, adding a few extra tails. To finish the model, add a minor mutation somewhere, such as two tails. Paint his fur red with a Dark Flesh base, Red Gore highlight, and a 2:1 mix of Gore and Blood Red for the final highlight. Paint his clothes in your colour scheme, and the blade glowy green. This was the first time I decided to go full out on a Special Character, giving him those wacky rules you wouldn't find in any other place. It probably won't happen again. |

Ooh, kinky! What should they be called? We've had Throtlings and Grottlings, so why not Grisklings? No... that would be stupid. I'll think of something later. I'll do him in a bit, as he's been voted for, but I won't be able to update for a while... |

Normally. this would have resulted in a light snigger. As it is, my little sister was watching "Josie and the Pussycats" on Cartoon Network very close to where I read this, and I fell off my chair laughing. I hope you're happy... ![]() EDIT: I just realised that Morkskittar was in fact voting rather than simply putting in a question mark for the hell of it. Sorry, although you can't technically vote. |
