I've just hear about the the clan moulder army list, and noticed, that exept for clan skyre, no 'official' army list is released. So, if GW doesn't make one, let's start ourselves. First: What would you like to be in the clan skyre army list? |

*laughs*... sorry man, but I do agree with nagash. At this point, the list presented in the Armybook is as much as a clan Skryre armylist can look like. Greetz |

Come On! This idea isn't that bad! Besides, if the army list was whole clan skyre, why would GW put an unofficial army list in the back of the army book? And actually it isn't mean to be an SAD army, or a cheesy list. Far from that. Well, if nobody brings up any idea's, I'll do it. Lords: Warlock Masters Grey Seers or Special character? Heroes: Chieftain Warlock Engineers Non-magic kind of engineers (will have like robotic arm upgrades, improved eyesight upgrades, warplock pistol, ratling pistol?) Core: Clanrats (mainstay unit of couse) Clanrat Slaves Poisoned Wind Globadiers 0-1 Stormvermin - maybe with batteries on their backs with their halbers attached to it. Must take standard bearer (with copper wire) Give -3 save modifier. Jezzials Special: Techvermin - skirmishing unit with expiremental weaponry. Doombringers - 1-3 unit of rat ogres with ratling guns or warpfire throwers. Poisoned wind thrower - bolt thrower with poisoned wind globes Automaton - clanrat slave with 1+ armour save and immume to psycho. Must roll dice before moving. If they roll 1, they may not move. Rare: Doomwheel/Skaven Tank Warplightining cannon (2 for 1 rare) 0-1 Doomsday machine device - uberdeath machine which (of course) has a chance to damage skaven units too. 0-1 Cloning Vats - unmoveble, if a unit is destroyed, roll a d6. On the roll of a 6, the unit will re-appear from the cloning vats. |

If you're still going to make this, there should not be grey seer on army list. It's not skryrish. Anyway those names sound interesting and I would like to hear what they do. Ah, and get somekind of skaven pistoliers there

Y'know, you could come up with Skyre units that don't use long range attacks, as crazy as that is. Perhaps a unit upgraded for said Techvermin, but instead of making them skirmished, have them the equivalent of Stormvermin, only with +1 toughness to represent the mechanical implants? The ideas are numerous, all it needs is a creative imagination. |

I agree with phink. And definitely take out the seer. Seers and Skryre are constantly fighting for control of magic... they hardly ever work together (there are exception, ie Boneripper). Also, maybe make Rat Ogre Automatons, similar to Boneripper, but not as good. |

Mordheim has a Skryre Rat Ogre, perhaps that could be used for something? It has a sort of like gun built into its arm. |

no grey seers. grey seers are the chief rivals of clan skyre because they're jealous that skyre is permitted to use magic. warlock master or warlord. non-magical engineers? why not just make one or two fluffy new items for cheiftans? i.e. let them take warplock pistols stormvermin look a bit complicated. expand? techvermin look cool. expand? im iffy on the automatons. do you mean 1+ armor save as in 1+ base or +1 over their usual save (meaning a 6+ base)? if it's 1+ then i dont know what you're smoking but skaven DONT HAVE heavily armored troops. maybe a 4+, max. dont like the cloning vats or the doomsday machine but i like the reintroduction of the doomwheel and maybe a skaven-captured steam tank. |

I think with the stormvermin he's getting the idea from 40k where they have all those weird Melee weapons that look like they're battery powered. >.> In other words, the battery powered halberds induce probably a higher armor save modifier than the strength four attack usually gives. By the tech vermin, I'm assuming there's an assortement of "experimental" weapons you can give them, each with their own catastraphic misfire table. Though I hope not, as it makes the unit more complicated than it needs to be. Yeesh, the thought of Skaven with something having a 1+ armour save send shivers down my spine. It's like a skaven warmachine that never explodes. Ye gads, the horror of it all! |

I actually like the non-magical engineer. Fighting engineer with big machine upgrades. Automaton slaves, eh? I don't think it's good to have them as special, if they're slaves, but I just can't make up anything other... |
