Greetings! I have a problem: If I charge a unit with 25 clanrats giving me +3 rankbonus, and also with my Giant Rats consisting of 3 packs (3 ranks) will that give me +6 for rankbonus in the CR? or do you just count the ranks of the biggest unit in combat? I don't exactly what it was... Thanks in advance brother skaven! Kamatz |

Isn't the max rank bonus in combat +3? You would add the two unit's rank bonus' together, but it can never be more that +3. FB |

in multiple combats, you use the the unit with the most ranks for your cr rank bonus. they are not cumilitive if you have a unit of cr with 3 ranks and gr with 2 ranks, you will only get +2 for the CR... you use the rank bonus of the unit with the most ranks... |

Meowser has answered the question concisely and correctly. (nice job) Anyway, case closed. |

Opened again. He's correct in the example. You don't get a rank bonus for the first rank... hence, a unit of 3 ranks gets a +2 rank bonus. You need to be deployed 4 deep for the +3 bonus. ... I know, I know. You knew that, the way meowser put it just confused you. But I like telling people they're wrong. Closed. |
