Well, what is gonna to be changed? Will there be a new armybook or no new armybook? New models often means a new armybook. or is it just me having to much warpstone? I like the new warriors though, and I will buy them to convert them to my slaves Kamatz |

o nice minis, but there is practically NO possibilty of converting them if you look at the sprues! hat is GW trying to achieve? For everyone to have the exact same army without any conversions??? I don't like the way its going, though i like the sculpts, they are nice. If they were multiparts id definately be suffering from the new army syndrome... Kamatz, they are getting an update, and a new army book and lots of new plastics |

I heard from a staff member at Warhammer World that they're going to have new models AND a new rulebook. My uncle heard from GW store staff member that the new Boxed Starter Set will be Dwarves and Goblins because they change it for every new edition. So I guess the new dwarves will be the start of 7th edition. |

YES!!! I have a deep love for the stunties that even surpasses my love of skaven!!! In every game i have played i always go dwarves first but the bad models kept me away, i was just getting ready to make a slayer army which would kill my wallet but now i'll start dwarves . Things that get put on 'SNEAK PEEKS' always come out about 4 months later so expect them sooner rather than later.....i know what i'm getting for christmas.- Tarondor |

They are really great models, an awesome improvement on the old ones. But too bad I don't play dwarfs. Can't wait till they redo skaven !

Er... what sprues did you look at? The once I have seen looked like they offered ample oppertinities for converting. Body head and arms where separate, much more than that is hard to make unless you also make the legs separate, but thats pointless. |

Y'know, I was also getting that feeling when I looked at them... it's like they're missing character, like, it's something about the outfits or proportions, they look crisp... mundane.... i look at them and I see short fat vikings, and I'm also reminded of Edoras.

I too have a soft spot for Dwarves, a couple actually - tongue, throat, stomach; well you get the idea. These ones look tasty indeed - my rats are getting sore tummies from all the tough Orc flesh. I hope someone in my gaming group gets these Dwarves! |

Something i don't understand. Why did GW redo models that were just redone when 6th ed came out ? I mean, the dwarves already GOT new warriors, so why do different ones instead of redoing models to those who are still stuck with their own old minis ? (skaven and orcs come to mind) If they made plastic boxed sets of longbeards, hammerers and ironbreakers, THAT would have been great, but new warriors that mostly all dwarf players have already bought, that seems a little OTT for me. And about the topic, i don't know. On first glance, they do look cool, but i also have something that is tickling me about those models. |
