Yeah, after a couple of months as a warlord list, i'm going back for round #2 as eshin. Last time, i didn't use triad. The Q is, would taking 2 be too much ? 2 triads are still 24 S4 poisonned attacks.

Also, can an assassin (or sensei) hide in a triad ?

2 Triads... the one game I played with Eshin, I had 2... but I would only take 1 in retrospect, so that I could have more NR/GR.

And Assassins cannot hide in Triads. The SoC book states that the Assasssin's (and Master Assassin's) hidden is the same as on p.18 of the Skaven Rulebook, which says only Clanrats, SV, NR, and GR. Not triads.

i think that one triad is round enough, lest we forget that we willl have assasins in the army anyway so we can free up those 210+ points for other units.

Would be neat to see though. I could just picture a unit of Skinks trying to take on two Triads in HtH

two works but you have to play it right... you cant treat both of them as a unit of one that can get a flank... they still need support

and nothing saying assassin cant scout near them with his stars :D

2 triads could certainly be effective. However, I would rather add in a unit of PWG instead of the second triad. They would be better suited for taking on high T units and/or ones with excellent armor saves. It all depends on your playing style and the armies you expect to encounter.
