Heya

Got a question, suppose i have 6 PCBS attacking a unit but only 4 are spread in the front, with 2 in back.. i roll toughness test, i roll one 6.. do i remove 1 PCB in front or back?

I need to know because it affects how many PCBs can attack in regular combat etc

Cheers!

u atke em from the back, but it counts as if the one in the front died, as it is combat. its simular to when ur in normal combat, say u kill 4 u take them from the back, ad just remember that 4 cant attack.

Never worry. Worst case scenario you die, and then there was no point worrying anyways.

You'd have to roll for the front rank and the back rank separately if you really wanted to keep track. Every PCB needs to take a test (triggered by the front four models in contact with enemies) but unless you declare which PCB rank is taking the test and roll just that rank.

If you've already rolled, I'd say scatter the failures... you have a nice even 1-4, 5-6 split going on.

Just out of curiousity, what are you fighting that you only have a front of 4? A monster?

At any rate, rolling the back rank seperate sounds like the best idea. This way there's no question which actual models died and which can fight.

Spot on!

And hakoMike has answered the initial question to perfection (imnsho).

Um aren't you all wrong? The way I understood it was that only models in base contact with an enemy unit took the test, this coming from the Skaven armoury under the rules for the Plague Censer. Could someone confirm this?

I also do this. I roll for both front and back ranks.

and every model touched by a censer model takes a test, be it from another rank, or another unit.
