Thats right, me, General Vorg, has decided to create my own CIVIL WAR SPECIAL CHARACTER SHOWDOWN

This basicly of it goes down.

first you choose a special character from the civil war (it should be YOUR special character). Then make fluff, a statline, a pount cost, weapon details, and of crouse special rules. You dont NEED fluff, it is optional, but HIGHLY suggested. You will post this characters into this thread, but dont discuss them, ill be making another post for that right when im done this one. You may mutate your characters (edit them) untill september 1st, thats when no more special characters can begin and the voting starts!

you will send me in you name and who your voting for in a PM, ill chart it and around september 21st i will announce first, second, and third place!!!!

Though Clan Scrapsnik was small in size, it seemed it’s warlord was quickly rising in fame and infamousy. Warlord Ratphink, is the self proclaimed Warlord Supreme of the Clan and has suffered on a long, dark road time and time again since he won his clan and brought it under his rule.

Ratphink had, like many others, been born a simple rat, though blessed above others with the black fur of a Stormvermin. He was a quick study under the Clans original leader, Warlord Scrapsnik. The other main figure head in the clan was none other than the Warlock Engineer Garock Slave beater. The old Warlock had long since been booted from his standings in Clan Skyre, something about it being wrong to sell his competitors experiments for his own personal profit. Either way, he was now the advisor for the Clan... and Ratphinks ally.

It had been Garocks original intention to raise Ratphink to be a pawn, to use him as a puppet and control Clan Scrapsnik through this quickly rising Stormvermin. But Warlord Scrapsnik was a paranoid thing, and would have none of it. He would send Ratphink on suicide scouting missions and have the rat come back the next morning, panting and bloodied but still alive. Garock had always tended the wounds personally as well, fearing that Scrapsnik would send some “medic” to kill Ratphink instead of heal him, and ridding the world of Garocks current hope for his scheme to come to fruition.

It had gone on like this for a couple years until finally the day had arrived when Ratphink had challenged the Clan leader for dominance of the Clan. Though Clan Scrapsnik had greatly acquired favor for their rising competition, Warlord Scrapsnik was hardly about to give up what little power he held over the small clan. The two combatants had fought long and hard, but it was Ratphink who had risen as the victor from that battle, and the only major injury he had sustained was the loss of his right big toe, but that had quickly been replaced by the chunk of warpstone that had rested on his foot for the years to come, and had given him the name Greentoe.

The reason as to why he kept the original name of the Clan under Warlord Scrapsnik is unknown. He never answered the question without skewering the one who asked it. Though for whatever reason, it seems far from likely that he’ll be about to change it at any point in time.

As time progressed, as it usually did, Ratphink had joined his fellow rats in the Civil War for the north and had fought originally for the Inferno Lords of the south. Battling it out with them, under the now Inquisirat ‘Ttakquik, under Warlord Scratch. Yet he had aided the Warlord Klaww onto his throne of the Union of Flame by helping in the dethroning of Scratch. Though he had never truly fought on the front lines... never for long at least. Every time the Undercity of the Ulricsburg called to him, and he’d remain there. It was only up until recently did he make himself a more active threat. It had been after the fall of Rattsu the Black, that Ratphink began to mobilize against the Claws of the Horned Rat, and begin to truly fight for the right to rule the Undercity.

Yet it was in this war in the Undercity, that spawned many of his creations. The Dragonkin, the Kamikazi Man-thing Toys, and technologically enhanced rats for his own spying needs, among many more. Yet when he created the Dragonkin, he had put into motion events that would lead to his own demise. For when he thought Garock dead and gone, the old rat had returned, saving him from the darkness that the Claws wielded and threatened to enveloppe him, and it was at that moment that he turned away from the path of the Horned Rat and found solice in a new deity. He found himself under the thumb of Tzeentch, the Great Changer of Ways.
It was this that reviled the Dragonkin Whiteclaw, the albino Dragonkin that despised everything about what he saw as Heretics against the Horned Rat. The rogue Dragonkin rose up and fought back, causing a war within Clan Scrapsnik as the Dragonkin rebelled and fought for ownership of the Clan. It had been in this outbreak that Ratphink went down further into the Ulricsburg, into more forgotten tunnels and found his demise at the hands of Whiteclaw.

Yet his own genius had saved him, as he had known well ahead of time how the confrontation would turn out and prepared a new body, a more sturdy body, a more powerful body. So is how Dark Lord Ratphink came into existence. Fueled by a silent anger, a thirst for vengence, Ratpink set out now, with new motivation, new power for nothing less than the Ulricsburg in its entirety. He’d use who ever could be to achieve his goal, he’d kill any who bared his path, but his path was indeed set. Woe betide any who try to stop him.

Equipment-Steel Scythe, Warpstone Powered body
Special Rules-Servant of Tzeentch, Second Life, Warlord Supreme of Clan Scrapsnik

Steel Scythe-This is just a normal Great Weapon. The only thing special is that it inspires fear in his opponents to see a great mechanized rat, with a really big scythe like those stories of the Man-thing Grim Reaper always talk about. Ratphink ‘causes fear for wielding this weapon. Or at least that’s how Ratphink sees it.

Warpstone Powered Body-This grand piece of machinery makes up for Ratphinks lack of arms and legs. It confers to him a 4+ bonus save, as he also wears armor over the rest of his body. Also, once per battle, Ratphink may supercharge his body and it will double his attacks for a single round of combat in the game. Yet the effects are negative, for his body can begins to move sluggishly after that moment, and will no longer respond as quickly as it normally would. From that point on, Ratphink always attacks last, even if charged. The only exception to this rule are Zombies... who attack after Ratphink for being braindead.

Servant of Tzeentch-Since Ratphink’s transition to the worship of Tzeentch, his abilities in the art of Magic have steadily increased. He counts as a level two wizard of Tzeentch, but only knows the spell Red Fire.

Second Life-When Ratphink nearly died by the hands of his enemy Whiteclaw, he had known from the start how and when he would die. This knowledge gives Ratphink the Immune to Psychology, because he’s able to detach himself from the battle and just kill, believing that when the time comes that he does die, he’ll know when it happens.

Also, now that Ratphink has faced death before, he no longer holds the same fear of dying in the midst of combat. So even though he’sIimmune to Psychology, counts as Stubborn.

Warlord Supreme-Ratphink will always be the Army General if he’s included in a list. He doesn’t tolerate uppity lieutenants.

Fighting Spirit

niqueeka has been through harsh conditions that some only come against in their darkest nightmares, this has refined her fighting spirit to a point of never staying down in a fight

after niqueeka is reduced to 0 wounds take a immedate leadership test if passed she gets back up with 1 wound remaining

hatred for athority

niqueeka being a breeder to warlord scratch for several years she has hatred towards lords of other armys


for every lord in control of your enemy niqueeka gains +1 leadership only she is affected by this hatred and cannot be passed if she is general, fears warlord scratch

flames of dispair
niqueeka is suffering with a darkness within her that she cannot allways control

every time niqueeka takes a would roll a dice on a roll of 1 or 2 she gets consumbed by the darkness her attacks rise to 10 but counts as shooting into combat with the only diffrence of it being 3-6 to hit a enemy and 1 or 2 to hit a ally she automatically leaves any unit shes to and goes straight to the nearest enemy in the compulsery move phase the player can choose to take a leadership test to see if niqueeka comes back to her senses

Verminlord 'zodi, Head of Clan Morkreek

Ikiskabak was born in the tunnels deep beneath Skavenblight. He was born Dark-Furred and unusually large, but was still to low of a class for him to be noticed. He lived his years as a young Skaven in Skavenblight, ambushing other Skaven. He became a master at this, though not nearly as well as the adepts of Eshin.

One day, he made the mistake of ambushing a Plague Monk. As he and his small gang fought, Ikiskabak became queasy. He was becoming sick! Soon, the Plague Monk had laid waste to all of the Skaven but Ikiskabak. Ikiskabak collapsed, on the verge of Death. the Plague Monk saw something that could be useful to Clan Pestilens in Ikiskabak, so he took him back to the Clan Pestilens section of the city, and in secret taught him about Clan Pestilens. He grew resilient to the diseases of the clan, and then he decided that he no longer needed to be taught. he has spent only two years there. he was a fast learner. So, in the dead of night, he left. He wanted to join the ranks of Clan Eshin, but first needed to prove himself.

He had heard about the mighty Chaos Incursion, and went north to see what happened. On his way to Zundap, he stopped in Hergig. he realized that here, not in Zundap, could he truly prove himself. So he made himself a hidden burrow, and whiled away his time ambushing Humans and Skaven alike, until one day...

One day, as he woke, he sensed a presence in his room. He drew his blade, and looked around before finally pinpointing the intruder's presence. the intruder stepped out of the shadows. An Assassin! But Ikiskabak could not move. He was in awe of the Skaven. The Assassin then told Ikiskabak he wasnt going to harm him. he said that he had been watching him for some time, and had deemed him worthy to join Hergig in a new Civil War that was coming. Swelling with pride, Ikiskabak said that he would help fight for Hergig. Good-good, said the Assassin, who, in a puff of smoke, disappeared. Now I can finally prove myself! thought Ikiskabak...

Over the time that Ikiskabak had been here, he has gathered a small group of rats that support him (small for Skaven), as he is very agressive and intimidating. He has dubbed them Clan Morkreek. His Clan has grown greatly, especially after he seized Brighttunnel and made it his own. He then became a wealthy and rather influential Skaven. Brighttunnel attracted many new Skaven, and his Clan grew astonishingly.

When Fangmaster Silverskein merged the Cult of the Horned Rat with the Union of Flames, Ikiskabak rebelled and joined the Dark Lords of the Over-Empire, becoming one of the Dark Lords. He managed to evacuate his whole Clan from Brighttunnel, somehow, when he left the newly formed Stronghold.

One day, when Ikiskabak was checking up on Attachikar, the Verminlord that had possessed Feskermusk, he was attacked by a Verminlord called Tarichmar, brother of Attachikar. After a fierce battle of wills, the two merged, Slavelord and Daemon, to become Akkirakar, a 'zodi, a daemon bound to an earthly object, keeping him in this world. Akkirakar claims that the Horned Rat speaks through him, and thus sits in the Horned Rat's normal place on the Morkreekian Council of Thirteen.

Akkirakar is about the size of a Rat Ogre with dark bown fur, and he had two tails. he carries with him a Doom Glaive, and his whip Flame-bringer. He wears a set of Warpstone Armour with a large chunk of raw Warpstone in the center. Being practically a Daemon, Akkirakar has almost no fear, though he is still known to flee when a combat is looking bad. Now that he is transformed, Akkirakar can almost not abide with worshippers of other gods.

Magic Items:

Doom Glaive
Most Verminlords carry a Glaive similar to this one, though theirs are usually larger. It is an Aethyric weapon, and thus can cut through armour with ease.

The Glaive allows no Armour Save. Akkirakar can use this one handed.

Flame-bringer
Formerly the magic whip called Slavebane, this weapon was magically transformed when Ikiskabak and Tarichmar joined to form Akkirakar. The whip Flame-bringer has no rope, but instead a length of green flame, in the shape of a rope. Anything that it touches is scorched by the fires.

Any model that is wounded after Saves suffers D3+1 Wounds. In addition, attacks made by this weapon count as flaming attacks.

Warpstone Armour
Akkirakar wears a massive suit of this armour, made of pure Warpstone. there is a large chunk of Warpstone in the center.

Gives Akkirakar a 3+ Armour Save. In addition, if a hit is saved by this suit of armour, the one who hit Akkirakar takes a Strength 5 hit.


Special Rules:

Two Weapons

Akkirakar fights with two weapons. He gets +1 Attack for this. He may divide the attacks between each weapon in any way he wants, as long as he allocates one attack to each weapon.

'zodi

A 'zodi is a Daemon bound to an earthly item. He will only leave this world if that object or his earthly form is destroyed. Akkirakar is bound to a piece or Warpstone on his armour.

The Warpstone piece may be targeted in Close Combat. You will need to roll to hit, and it has Toughness 9 and 2 Wounds. It is automatically destroyed if Wounded by something at Strength 8 or more.

If you choose to shoot at the Verminlord, first roll to hit. Then, for every die that hits, roll a D6. On a roll of 1-4, Akkirakar is hit. On a roll of 5-6, the Warpstone.

If the Warpstone is destroyed, Akkirakar will have to take Daemonic Instability Tests. If the Warpstone is still there, then he doesn't, as he is bound to it.

Head of Clan Morkreek

Akkirakar must always be the army general.

Terror

Akkirakar is fearsome looking and big, and thus causes Terror.

Seer

All Verminlords are well versed in magic, and Akkirakar is no exception. he is a Level 4 wizard, using Spells from the Magic of the Horned Rat.

Immune to Psychology

Akkirakar is Immune to Psychology, but not Unbreakable. In addition, Akkirakar can re-roll failed Break Tests.

Horned Rat Incarnate

All friendly Skaven units within 6" of Akkirakar are Immune to Psychology.

Unit Strength

Akkirakar has Unit Strength 6.

Stands Alone

Akkirakar cannot join units.

Daemonic Aura

While he is bound to Earth, some of the protection of the Warp has not left him. He has a 5+ Ward Save against non-magical attacks if the Warpstone is intact. If the Warpstone has been destroyed, he has a 4+ Ward Save against non-magical attacks.

Powerful Presence

Akkirakar has such a powerful aura that he adds +1 to any combats he is fighting in.

Warpstone

Akkirakar has large amounts of Warpstone on him. Thus, and model in base contact, friend or foe, takes a S3 hit.


In addition, Akkirakar is mounted on a 40-mm base.

Black Skaven Kill-kill must be used as presented here and may not be givin any extra equipment. He takes up a hero and a speacal choice and MUST be feilded with a unit of gutter runners bought seperatly.

Weapons and armor: Blades of Pain; The Stolen Armor; Poisened Thrwoing stars.
Speacal Rules: Influencial; Good Reflexes; Assasasin; Black Skaven.

Magical weapons;

Blades of Pain
These are the twin blades Black Skaven Kill-kill was gifted before his mission involving the death of Grey Seer Skitso. They are enchanted and poisened to inflict greivious pain with even the slightest scracth, and also seem to be very useful against wizards.

Counts as two poisened hand weapons. Also, any model that suffers an unsaved wound from must with the Blades of Pain must take a Leadership test at the start of the next Close Combat phase (yours or your opponents). If failed he may not attack for one ENTIRE turn. Also, as long as he is weilding the Blades of Pain, Black Skaven Kill-kill causes fear in all enemy Skaven characters (he is an assassin after all) and all enemy wizards.

The Stolen Armor
Kill-kill stole this armor from the corpse of the elf-lord Drakon. It is made of the finest Ithilmar and as one gutter runner was heard to say "glows funny".

Counts as heavy armor that may not be combined with any other armor. The Stolen Armor also grants Kill-kill a 4+ ward save that cannot be used against magical attacks.


Speacal Rules

Influencal
Black Skaven Kill-kill is the borther of the famed Warlork Engineer Shiva. Kill-kill is therefor in a good position with both the Warlock engineer guilds and most warlords.....

If Black Skaven Kill-kill is in an army the Skaven player may choose to make ANY model (exepct speacal characters that specifically say otherwise) their general, including BSB ect. Also, the Skaven player may take one extra Warlock Engineer, in addition to thier usual charactrer allowance.

Good Reflexes
Kill-kill has very good reflexes and can dodge most attacks

Gives Kill-kill a 5+ wards save.

Assassin
Kill-kill is after all an assassin (even though he declined the rank) and is particually good at fighting only one person.

Kill-kill always hits on a 3+ when fighting only one model. This includes challenges.

Black Skaven
Kill-kill still holds the rank of Black Skaven and therefor leads a unit of gutter runners

Kill-kill must always join a unit of Gutter Runners chosen from the skaven armylist like normal.

Is it too late yet? I lose track of time in the holidays...I'll enter my own anyway, another version of Crittrik, with different magic items AGAIN, and he's even more cruel and spiteful than ever before.

Once a lieutenant of the famed Lord of Decay Kratch Doomclaw, Crittrik grew tired of being the powerful skaven's underling. It became apparent that his advancement prospects within Clan Rictus were less than non-existant, so being an ambitious rat, Crittrik broke away, taking with him slaves, warpstone, and soldiers, and joined the skaven Civil War in the north to seek his fortune. After a few months and no less than 3 faction switches, it became apparent that his fortune was either non-existant or very good at hiding. When this revelation dawned on him, he rashly ordered a mass slave flaying, thus reducing the clan's main source of warpstone.

Crittrik is a nasty piece of work by anyone's account. Hisonly thoughts are for himself and his breeders (and only them because good breeders are getting harder to find). Though he's big and muscular for a skaven, with sleek fur as black as ink, he's a coward at heart, and always ready to have someone else do his dirty work. His main pastime is being generally cruel to his underlings, berating, beating and on occasion shooting them on the slightest flimsy pretext. Unfortunately, he's a very hard skaven to kill, and has the Horned Rat's own luck. It's a cruel, unfair world, and Crittrik's a cruel, unfair rat...


Warlord Crittrik or Clan Myrrek, 1 lord choice.

Equipment: Foe-gutter, heavy armour, Nauseating Shield, warplock pistol.

Magic Items:

Foe-gutter:
Forged from the melted down metal of a chaos runesword from the Chaos Champion Xiombarg slain when defeated by Clan Myrrek near Middenheim (though probably not by Crittrik) and blessed 13 times in the temple of the Horned Rat, this wicked kama is balanced to find the weak points in enemy's armour, and cut through the soft flesh beneath.

This weapon grants Crittrik -2 to enemy model's armour saves (for a total of a -3 modifier), and will never wound on worse than a 5+. In addition, Crittrik's attacks count as poisoned.

Nauseating Shield:
A gift from the evil dwarf Lord Odin, the head of the Horned Rat crafted in warpsteel adorns this triangular shield, sapping the strength of those who would strike its bearer

Counts (surprise surprise) as a shield. In addition, all attacks against Crittrik are at -1 strength.

Lizardbane Cloak:
Crittrik had this cloak made and enchanted before a short and unsucessful trip to Lustria. He boasts that it is the hide of a dragon, but when you look it appears to resenble Skink skin more closely...

This cloak give +1 to Crittrik's armour save in close combat, and +2 against shooting. In addition, any lizardmen models, Hate and Fear him, and suffer -1 to wound when attacking him.

Special Rules:

Feckless cowards-cowards!
If Crittrik is part of a fleeing unit, he will attempt to shoot one member of the unit to scare the others into obeying. When the unit tries to rally, the clawleader counts as being shot with the pistol. Roll to hit and wound as normal, but at -1 to hit due to the confusion. If the shot hits and kills the clawleader, the unit rallys automatically.

Slave abuse...
The slaves in Crittrik's army are treated even worse than in other clans, and are punished for anything that happens to Crittrik. For example, whenever he has a bad night's sleep, he picks some at random and removes their eyelids (What he does to them after an unsatisfactory trip to the breeding warrens just doesn't bear thinking about). Any fleeing slaves within 12" of Crittrik gain +1 to rally, and any slaves within 8" of Crittrik that are beaten in combat will reduce the negative modifier to their leadership by 1.

Only the good die young.

Well, although it's un-skaveny I'll play fair and won't vote on my own character...

Still some suggestions towards the characters entered...

@Morskittar:
I'd suggest to add the Large Target rule to this, or really upgrade his points cost. An item on his body, with toughness nine (where the hack do you get weapons to take THAT down in combat) that would be way to hard to take down except for cannons or greater cannons... Or a warp-lightning cannon.

@Kill-Kill:
Stolen Armour and Good Reflexes Rule... 5+ a.s. and a 4+ ward, followed by a 5+ ward save? Why?

Comments make sense... I am thinking of lowering the tougness of the armour (and making him a large target... after all, In the past turn, he has grown in size), and I will probably up the points cost. Not for the contest, though. Thanks for the comments.
