What is this 8 man army I am hearing about? How can you meet the minimum requirements for something like that-what does the list look like? |

I aint heard of an 8 man army, do u mean the scenario when u only get 7 characters? (sheer heroisum) thts about as close i think u can get to an 8 man army. |

GW, sucking the fun out of the hobby since 1999. Never worry. Worst case scenario you die, and then there was no point worrying anyways. Skaven repaint overhaul Number 5! (2/5th complete)

I made a 10 man chaos army once, it was only 1k, it had 2 units of 4 knights, a sorcerer on steed and a daemon with upped to a lvl 2 wizard. The guy I was playing used a life spell to flatten my daemon with a hill in the first turn, thus killing 1/3 of my army, my general, and half my spell casting prowess with 1 spell... I still won tho. (this was a cheesy army that I would hate to make again but i had a very limited # of models to work with.) Aside from sheer heroisim (which can actually have more or less than 7 men) that is the closest I have seen to an 8 man army. |

Chuck Norris is ten feet tall, weighs two-tons, breathes fire, and could eat a hammer and take a shotgun blast standing. It takes Chuck Norris 20 minutes to watch 60 Minutes. On his birthday, Chuck Norris randomly selects one lucky child to be thrown into the sun. Chuck Norris doesn't believe in Germany. Scientists have estimated that the energy given off during the Big Bang is roughly equal to 1CNRhK (Chuck Norris Roundhouse Kick)

the official smallest possible army is a tzeench chaos one. it consists of enough chariots to fill up your core choices, a tzeench lord on a dragon, and a few more tzeench characters on chariots. |

I have actually seen a army similar to one of the chariot armies in play. I think the guy had a couple of chariots, a lord on the flying disc, a couple of characters in chariots, and a choas giant. Probably one of the cheesiest armies I have ever seen, and the guy who was playing it looked like he had played warhammer for a while, so I was a little surprised he had brought the army. The army couldn't have been bigger than 12-15 models. My buddy beat him easily when the guys casting didn't go well, and he kept miscasting and losing the magic phase and such. Eventually his lord panicked, and ran off the board and he just surrenedered, it was sad really. |

thats the problem with a one trick pony army... that tzeeth list needs magic phase to do well. nothing 3 warlock engineers with 2 dispell scrolls each cant handle long enough to run over with the horde.... idea sounds great tho, but 15 dice are hard when someone expecting it |

Ohhhh, I think you can probably go smaller. What about Dragon Ogre Shaggoth Chieftan and a couple of Dragon Ogres... wait... no... that'd still be more models. More fun though. |

I see people are returning to the days of 5th edition Chaos....where if you had more then 20 people in a 2000 point game, it was rare indeed (and yet those 20 could still smash most things in their path...hell, one of my opponents back in 5th edition used to regularly field a 7-12 man strong chaos army... soooooo glad they changed that. There's just somethign wrong with calling a force that small an "army"). |

I don't think people are returning there, its not like you would find many people who would take such a list except just to try it once for fun. If you wanted to go cheesy, I wounder if an all screamer army would not be better. One exalted deamon, or even a herals since he is cheaper, and then ca 54 Screamers. That would be tricky to face since the army could do 54 automatic hits on you each turn without actually engading you in combat All the need to do is take out your artillery and wait.Although if there is room to fly around with 54 screamers like that is another thing. |
