Alright... I need these answered. I need to know whether or not my local retailers are telling me crap or not... Do thrown weapons suffer penalties for long range? Can they march and shoot? Can Skirmishers move fully and shoot? My local retailers say that they don't suffer those penalties, and can MArch/Move full and shoot, but last time they told me Stand and Shoot counted in Close Combat... |

I was looking that up this morning. The rule states that the skirmishers "normal" movement is twice its movement rate, but if they move more than thier movement rate, they cannot shoot becuase they are focusing on moving. Non-skirmishers cannot march and shoot at all. These two rules cover all types of shooting, inc. thrown weapons. I also concur with the above that thrown wepaons do not suffer from movement or range penalties. |

cannot be used if you marched/skirmishers moved double do not suffer range penalties do not suffer move and shoot penalties stand and shoot does NOT count towards combat resolution, nor does it replace the models' attacks, but if the charging unit takes 25% casualties they must take a panic check as normal. i believe that's all then? case closed |
