@sebrent: c'mon, we know you're really a closet elf-lover at heart. :rolleyes:

I think I'm just a tad tired of assembling clanrats :P, especially slave ones. At least mine don't get tails, but they do get their individually handcrafted sticks.

I was intending to get my box as soon as it came out, but as my independent trader closes shop at 5, i couldn't hop around until the weekend, then learned that he was out of stock for 2 weeks. That delayed things somewhat.

More grey every day.
Yeah, I have to admit, most of the new Wood Elves are pretty sweet.

Their choice for this lord character was a little strange though...

Odd as it may be, I wouldn't underestimate the Lorax though. Lots of attacks, lots of wounds, causes terror, and is equipped with the acorns of the Truffula of ages.

wow... The Rat Ogres were the first things I assembled... I just couldnt wait to get them assembled and out on the field. Then I saw the huge gaps on the models and had to wait ages to greenstuff them all up... boy was I annoyed... <_< But its all good now. My beautiful new rat ogres are ready to fight!! :D

Nope. They are worse.

And I do not plan on getting the battalion... I have all of the Skaven I need.

I was just up at my local GW and the Battalion is a great deal imo. For $115 you get:

40 Clanrats ($35 x 2 = $70)
20 Plague Monks ($35)
2 Rat Ogres w/ 2 Handlers ($40)
6 Giant Rats w/ 1 Handler ($10)

So for $115 you get $70 + $35 + $40 + $10 = $155 worth of stuff.

From what I've read, many of you don't use Rat Ogres but close to all of you use Clanrats and Plague Monks. So if you bought just 40 Clanrats and 20 Plaguemonks you'd be spending $105 ... $10 less and you wouldn't get 2 Rat Ogres, 3 Handlers, and 6 Giant Rats which you could assemble or use for bits. I like the deal, so I bought some more :D

Ajax = warpstone juice

with a little greenstuff to fill in the detail we used to get with metal models they work well... I dont even like ratogre rules wise but they look damn impressive in clanrat units in replace of 4 clanrats... I think when i finally finish buying for my horde im gunna do a rattsu and have larger units instead of a bunch of smaller ones... with giantrats to act as flankers the trick should still work.

btw this should really be in the skaven section sinces its bout that :D

my Battalion arrived yesterday! And I'm so damn happy with it!
Too bad that you can pose your plaguemonks as you want. I find them too static, and i want to convert them to be more frenzied, if you get what i mean...

I also ordered an extra boc of Clanrats, now i have 100 of them, and i'm gonna use them in 3 blocks of 30, and the other 10 i'm gonna convert them to Nightrunners, because I need 3 units of 10, and I only got 20...

115.00 USD = 64.0740 GBP (as of 21.27 20/8/05)

Only costs us £50 in the UK - you lot are getting ripped off
