Warlord of 7th Tactics!

well i figure that if one bell ring affects the whole army then another would rewrite it, maybe they dont it dosnt say they do, but come one two bells would be on its own with seers the best side of 700 points |

GW, sucking the fun out of the hobby since 1999. Never worry. Worst case scenario you die, and then there was no point worrying anyways. Skaven repaint overhaul Number 5! (2/5th complete) | |

I have the 5th edition bell.I find i might almost prefer to have the 6th edition one, because it fits on a smaller base (40x60 not 50x75) and the grey seer is poserd better. However, with a few limb bendings the 5th ed. GS doesnt look half bad, so im content with my 5th ed. bell. |

You can't have more than one bell... I pretty sure ( ie don't wanna go look for book)... |
Stare into nothingness for too long and you will forever be seduced by it's beauty...

Yes, I know you can't have more than one bell. That's why I said if you were playing a game with alliances. I was saying that TWO SKAVEN PLAYERS could EACH take ONE Screaming Bell, thus having TWO. It is perfectly legal, just like 2 allies with 2000pts each can EACH take ONE lord choice for a total of TWO. |

My own army is not big enough yet but you said you wanted destruction too... HE Comander armour of the gods great weapon, stead of shadows, three wounds, one failed ward save, BANG end of bell, pity she got warplightinged to death but still one of my best moves. |

I don't see Armour of the Gods in the High Elf magic list. Nice move though. |

it's on the Albion magic item list. usually the first thing a newb to the HE site asks, "what does the Armour of the Gods do?" it's a cool magic item, actually quite a must if you really want a destructive Prince. cheers, Daionosis Rove |

dark shadows campaign, a few years back. I believe they printed off a Warhammer Chronicles with all the albion items - Empire got some (Hexstaff), HE got one (or i think two - armor of the gods and Fusil), DE got one(mystic shield of light or divine eye, one of the two). I think even dwarves got one. the top four or five armies in the campaign, anyways. check any warhammer chronicles annual issues youve got lying around (yeah right...) |

I actually have Warhammer Chronicles 2004 cuz I took a break from White Dwarf and everything. Haven't seen it in there though ... It's probably in the 2002 or 2003 ... one of my last White Dwarf issues had the Skaven Battle Reports in Albion vs Dwarfs, Empire, and Dark Elves. |

I was planning on actually using the bell and seer as a focal point in all my 2000 point battles, until I started play testing with it, and it just became way too much of a point sink as I either roll poorly on the chart, or more likely kill my seer with the bell. However, I love the bells look, and if you can roll decently on the chart it can be devastating. My only recommendation, is run a small 20 clanrat unit as its pusher, and keep it out of combat except in panic situations. |

no it's like this; the DE won the campaign, hence they got loads of new magic items, I think 4-5. second came the HE, which where given 4 magic items, then the Empire, which got 2-3. the Dwarfs got one too, as they had the highest winning percentage. I could look it up in my WD, but I'm too lazy for any of that. cheers, Daionosis |

I just won a 2k game against Brettonian using Thanquol & Screaming bell. My army consists of Thanquol + 2 warlock engineer +screaming bell (12 Pow dice + 16 warpstone tokens makes spells impossible to block). The rest of army are simple ranks & files. * 3 units of Clanrats (1 pushing screaming bell) * 3 units of slaves * 2 units of giant rat packs * 2 twin globadiers (for deployment advantage) * 1 Warplightning cannon. Try it. It's worth it when you can throw a plague on the enemy units.
