somethin like this heroes and lords as appendix lords: moulder lord, lord level harbinger ( heroes: beastmaster, harbinger of mutation (w/ l2 upgrade) core: clanrats, no weapons teams slaves w/ no champ or musician, but can have up to 3(?) packmaster that funcion as musician giant rats packs. packs can take additional packmaster for ~6-10pts, gain musician bonuses 0-2 swarms, 1 can plague for special slot special: rat ogres, can take addt'nl packmaster for ~6-10 pts vermintaurs (med cav) shields LA (and cav armour bonus) spears, m7 ws4 bs3 s4 t3/4 i4 a1+1 w1 ld6 rat cavaly (fast cav) rider is clanrat, steed is m7 giant rat, can take slings rare: rat spawn rattoth (stegadon-sized ridden gribbly -- its their screaming bell equiv, but more of a monster) |

Wouldn't multiple packmasters giveing orders confuse a rat ogres? I think there already have enough problems.

For the slave packmasters.. musicians are tie-breakers, so why do we need 3? A tiebreak is pretty much a tiebreak. The older edition allowed more than one packmaster, if i'm not mistaken. I guess they don't give much orders, just general whipcracking really. Would be cool to see the stats and any additional rules for all the new stuff. Especially the rattoth, how does that work? I suppose it does magic, if so, does it carry a bell? |

I loe the ideas cept the musc thingy. I want ro that are toughness 5! and have an armour save. *the mental image or lotr u know the bit where gandalf says what ever comes though those doors u will stay ur ground, and then three armoured trolls break in:>) the rat monster is a great dea, it should def be a mount for a lord, and be the equivilent of the bell, cept me dont think it should have magic, just maybe random mutations from turn to turn! |

The mount for a lord should like a manticore, a HUGE rat ogre, with wings.... and flaming warpfire breath... and cause terror... and some other things i cant think of right now...it should be the equailivilent of a dragon except not AS good, a bit less in price, and have some skaveny effect 2 it squeeks |

If Moulder has a Screaming Bell equivalent, I would imagine it to be a Moulding Vat that can random spawn Ogres, Ginat Rats, etc. Yeah, Armoured Rat Ogres without Packmasters. Veteran Rat Ogres who no longer need them. What about those Black Rats created by Izak Grottle in Skavenslayer? Pestilens has Plague Rats, why can't we have the Black Hunger versions? |

What about some sort of Slaves, that were used in mutations? They will have no wounds en be unbreakable, but will lose Dx models a turn. (instable mutations) It would not be cheesy, because of the low attack strenth, and the models that are lost (especcially in turn 1&2) For attacks that wound, models just may not fight back. just my 2 cents |

what do you expect to see in the WD clan moulder list? i think that a moulder lord, harbinger of mutation and harbinger lords are almost certain 0-2 swarms as well, grp as mainstay.. im dying to see whether they introduce new units (converted of course) |

I hope they make improved Rat Ogres and introduce the Mole Rat ![]() I won't say no to some wolfrats, rattaurs or flying rats either, but time will show. I like the idea of characters riding Rat Ogres but i am not sure it will be in the list. Imagine a 4 pack of Giant Rats with a Master Moulder on a Rat Ogre in the middle of it. Now we are talking 3 attacks from Rats, 3 from packmasters, 3 from Rat Ogre and 3 from hero. That is 6 low strength attacks and 6 higher strength attacks. That could acually pack quite a punch. Offcource the hero can then be targeted with missiles, but you can't get everything ![]() |

Mole Rat? Have I read about that somewhere? Was it on a book about storm of chaos or what? Anyway I like the idea about those packmasters with slaves as musicians. |

Molerat... like a gutter runner and a Rat Ogre combined... Molerat 30 points special unit unitsize: 2+ M:6 WS:3 S:4 T:4 A:2 W:2 I:2 LD:3 equipment: nothing special rules: Tunneling, Blind, Helping Hands Tunneling: see skaven army book under Gutter Runners Blind: MoleRats hate sunlight, it affects there vision a lot due to the fact they spend most of there time in the dark. Molerats may not march, if Molerats make a charge with only 2-1 inches, they stop right beside the target and it is considered an incomplete charge Helping Hands: Molerats help eachother when fighting, there for they do not need packmasters. If there is only 1 Molerat left in a unit, he suffers from stupidity. Im also placing this in the moulder list squeeks |

Vorg: I don't get what you are saying about the charge for the molerats? What do you mean 2-1 inches? Taking your suggestion from the other thread, here are Throt's Chosen: Throt's Chosen (Rare): I was thinking 0-1 and units of 3-5. Armed with spears, so +1 str on the charge The champion (master) rides a boar, so it gets the normal boar +2 str on the charge. Statline: Mv WS BS St To Wo In At Ld Bodyguard: 5 4 3 3 4 2 5 2 6 Wolf: 7 3 3 3 2 3 Master: 5 4 3 3 3 2 5 3 6 Boar: 7 4 3 3 2 3 Bodyguard is equipped with: Spears +1 Str on the charge Heavy Armor Shield Total save = 3+ 40 pts/each Basically, boar boyz with flying, +1 Wo and +1 WS for +22 points, approximately the price difference between KotR and pegasus knights Master +40 Standard +20 Musician +20 |
