How does everybody paint their fur. I have experimented with several different combos and cant find the right one. I would like for the fur to go well with a really pale skin tone. This will be for my Clan Pestilen themed army.,, so if yall could enlighten me.thank you

Well, i suppose you've tried combos with vermin, scorched brown, bestial brown, and graveyard earth. I usually use drybrush scorch brown, then bestial brown, and highlight with graveyard earth. I like graveyard earth as i find it the most mousy brown, and IMO it sorta works with elf-flesh based skins. Are you going for a high contrast or a low contrast? Which paints are you using for the skin? |

Yes Ive tried those combos before... Im working with a extremely light skin which is mostly half vomit brown and half rotting flesh. Mostly I want a low contrast that will go with the skin well.

Vomit/rotting... is that a kinda yellowish pale result? Have you tried a bestial brown with snakebite leather highlight? Or maybe a snakebite/graveyard earth mix? Or mixing in codex grey for a duller color? |
