I am not here to be nice.
Great painting job there! You continue to suprise me Nagash! You just keep them coming huh? B)

It looks like a deamon is trying to get out of the grey seer's body! :D B)

The poles that are coming out of his back, what is that?
We are living on this world on rented time and now we can't pay the rent
We have thrown out our garbage into the corridor and we have clogged the toilet
We have annoyed the neighbors and we have pissed off the landlord
We have stolen all the wares from the nature and we have poisoned our veins with greed
We have powered our hearts with a false promise that we aren't so bad and we have told ourself that everything happens for reason
We say that we will be forgiven and that all we do will ok when we die
We do not deserve to be spared and we deserve to burn
For the anquish we have caused this world
We deserve to burn

off course you can, but the you have to live with my bad english, ha ha!!

yes, try and send me some pics.

I still think it can be hard to paint large skin areas, but here is what i normally do.

Its hard to tell what colour to use, but lets say we paint an ratogre.
the problem with gw paint, is that it gets dry really really fast, so you have to add water. just take a bit paint on a flagstone with your brush and add the water. make the layers of paint brigher and brighter. between every new layer of paint, I mix it with the old. eks. first use scorted brown. the next layer will be dwarf flesh, but because the off the diffrent colours, I mix them, or else it will be hard to paint with a light colour on the dark brown colour. now you can paint with dwarf flesh on its own.
are you still with me?

1. black undercoat.
2. scorted brown
3. scorted brown/ dwarf flesh
4. dwafr flesh/ elf flesh
5 elf flesh
6 " elfflesh/white"

Remember to water down the paint. I's very rare that i use ink on flesh, because i think its hard to control, but I't really makes the model look more 3d.

when you highlight, you have to leave some of the "old" layers so in that way it will make the shade.

lets say you have a hill, the closer you come to the top, the more bright it will be.
lets say i want to paint a hand.
between the fingers there will be black, the side of the hand will mostly be dwarf flesh , the "front side" of the hand will look very much like elf flesh, but with a small dark tone from the dwarf flesh and finally the knuckles will be elf flesh.

A strange thing is that, If you don't want the "pink/red" look in the skine, add some pink ink to the paint and it will look much more dirty greey.

to Skagrit

Im glad that it looks like a deamon comming out off the grey seer, because that was the hole idea.

poles??? you mean the horns?

The comments I posted in the last thread still stand... I have no idea what I wrote however 'cause my brain is shutting down... :censor: ^_^

It was at Bospop, we where waiting for Iron Maiden, I wasd thinking about the Underempire to keep my mind occupied. Suddenly, one single tought struck me: your ratspawn.
And I am sure you can win the GD award, all you need is the right idea at the right time. And you must know we from the EU will allways support you. :rogre:
