Ive heard all the rumors about 7th edition being next, but i reeeeally want chaos dwarfs. my prediction:

Dwarfs get new models and a new book, with a Chaos Dwarf preview list in the back of the book

Dwarfs and Night Goblins get a Boxed set, and a "Realms" Lustria style book. Including spider riders.

then either 7th edition or Chaos Dwarfs. maybe the first followed by the second. Hopefully "Machines of Chaos", SOC was imo, not the talked about third chaos book.

Vampire Counts on the whole, do NOT need new minis. their range already looks great. I can see them relasing plastic Dire Wolves and Ghouls, HOPEFULLY a boxed set for Black Knights, but other than that, VC dont need a thing.

Halflings would be cool! Have you seen their cannon in Dogs of war collectors guide? There's a cook as crew and it shoots soup

The Halfling Hot Pot. It fired more like a stone thrower. Only using ox-tail soup instead of a stone!

I really wish they'd do CD as an army list on their own. I don't want to be a stunty book just to get the cool dwarfs!

I think GW needs to do an actual compilation of Dogs of War. Put all the rules in one book and give the mercenaries some real magic items instead of just the common list. It sucks when your rank and file champions have cooler abilities than your general. It'd really be great if you could take a general from a different race than human. A Skaven mercenary army would probably be too much to hope for though. :(

Hopefully 7th edition will be like the 4th edition of 40k. Not a lot of rules changes just kinda streamlined it and lined their pockets because we all went out and bought the new book. I like the way 6th edition plays but there are some things that need to be better explained and/or tweaked.

I hope the redo the dwarfs, might make me try them out again, they are just too easy to lose with right now.

Are you kidding me? Tomb Kings were only released back in October 2002, while other armies like High Elves(other than the new heroes, and RBT), Dark Elves and Vampire Counts were made before Tomb Kings and haven't even been touched.

Well the DOW Rules are already on the GW site. And the only reason they would make a DoW would be when they change all of rules for all of the DoW.

I would really like to see a DoW book though.

i think dow book merged with a little mordheim tweaked to fit more in line with current warhammer... would make a damn good supplement... that way you have detailed warhammer skirmish games as well rules for them :D plus new rules for mordheim w00t

after all with the way storm of chaos ended its very empire in flames *snicker*

i cant see DoW getting a very good book because they only have access to common magic items and some players are picky about that. of course, they cant really extend the common magic items without reprinting every 6th ed. armybook, and/or that means itd be like 5th edition where there were too many common magic items and everything was becoming overpowered or over used and bleeeh.

I really don't agree with the Magic Items. Why? Because the Regiments of Reknown all have their special items and stuff. You really don't need 'em if you field units like the Cursed Companies or those Manflaying Dark Elves. So don't worry about it, but I would like to see a DoW book. Make a nice clean, fluff filled volume and I'd be all warm and tingly inside.

I'd like to see DOW redone a few more options in there basic troops. One of the things I'm hoping for in 7th edition is a few more generic magic items maybe an item creater like the Vehicle Design rules for Warhammer.
Probably the eternal story. Boy sees alien, alien sees food. Boy objects, alien takes offense.

I would also like to see DOW army book. How about a couple of pages of common magic items instead of the 10 or so listed in the main rule book.

Current Fantasy Armies:
Dark Elves
Empire
Skaven
