Here are my rules for Skaven "Cavalry" and some background. Skaven have ever been hordes of foot troops. However, Anarak, one of Throt the Unclean's Master Moulder servants, has recently mutated together a pack of Cold Ones and Clanrats. The result is a horrible mutation of the Cold One. Throt was deeply impressed by this mutation, and began the practise of "Cold One capturing", sending more and more to Anarak for him to mutate. Trade for these monstrocities is now high, and ranks of these abominations now ride with the Skaven Warlord Clans. Packmaster- M:4 WS:3 BS:3 S:3 T:3 W:1 A:1 I:5 LD:5 Monstrocity- M:7 WS:3 BS:3 S:4 T:4 W1 A:2 I:7 LD5 Special Choice, Unit Size 3-20. 20 pts model. Equipment: The Packmaster wields a lash and a sword. The Monster ia armed with it's teeth, claws, horns and everything else on it's bodies. The Packmaster wears light armour and the Monster's hide gives it a 4+ armour save. Lash: Counts as an additional hand weapon. Can hit the Monster with the lash once per turn, giving it +1 move. However, the monster has -1 weapon skill that combat as he is pained from the strike. Special Rules: Cavalry, +1 armour save for mount. I'm open for comments, as these rules are not perfect. Pics of the conversion coming soon. ![]() MUTATE: Took away fear, thanks for the suggestion ratphink. |

I like them overall except for one thing, fear and unit size. Yes I realize that they are gonna be really ugly and nasty... but a fear causing calvary unit that can be 20 in size[40 unit strength] is a bit unbalanced. Espeacially since a unit on that side won't lose rank bonus that easily, will definitely outnumber, they're gonna have some major combat res, so this would make them rather overpowering... that's how I see it at least. |

Freaky, just plain freaky. FREAKY!

awesome! send it to GW and they might make a model! make the lash so it can hit up to 4 times but for each hit with it the -1 modifier is there for a turn eg/ 3 hits: -1 for 2 turns. 2hits: -1 for 1 turn

i say take out fear, because that would be overpowering, and them this special rule Horn Charge: These monstrosities have spikes and horns all over them due to the interesting mutation made by Anarak, giving them an even deadlier charge then your everyday rat. Gives the Monstrosity +1 strength on the charge squeeks |

I would make it -1 T instead. If you are hurt, then you are more likly to be hurt more. |

Sorry if im a necro now, but its worth to be brought back to life.. If it is hurt to much, it would like you say likely be hurth more. But, sometimes when you get hit. You hit harder back. What about having a D6, and on the roll of 5-6/only 6 we get a bonus attack? |
