is anyone else having problems with posts being marked read or unread? lately any post i read shows up as being read (normal, right?) but if i read another post and go back to the lobby, it shows all the posts as unread again... an inconvienience more than anything, i just have to keep track of what i've seen, but i was wondering if this was happening to anyone else? |

Do you hit the "Back" button or one of the links at the top? Personally, I've never actually noticed. I don't even know what symbol means I have read it before. |

Yes. I've noticed it too. No, not the bong - that thing with the posts being marked as read then showing up as unread. REALLY ANNOYING! It started a few days ago. I've had the same problem over at The Herdstone. Don't know why - perhaps a problem with InvisionFree? |

FEAR THE LEMMING!

Happens frequently. 20 new posts, you read one, hit back, no new posts. If you don't hit back, I don't think it happens. Then again, I might be completely wrong. |

I'm having this problem too, as of yesterday. What happens is this: I read a post. I go back to the subforum index. The thread is now marked as "read", which is as it should be. Now I read a different post. Then I go back to the thread index. Now, the latest thread I read is marked as "read", but the one I viewed before that is marked as "unread" again! It's really annoying. |

"I have a post-Armageddon vision. We and all other large animals are gone. Rodents emerge as the ultimate post-human scavengers. They gnaw their way through New York, London and Tokyo... within 5 million years, a whole range of new species replace the ones we know. Herds of giant grazing rats are stalked by sabre-toothed predatory rats. Given enough time, will a species of intelligent, cultivated rats emerge?" Richard Dawkins, The Ancestor's Tale | |
